Lovely studio in French countryside of Quercy Blanc, Lot, France

Located in the south of the magnificent Lot department (46) in the heart of the Quercy Blanc, our gîte offers everything that people looking for peace, relaxation and nature need. It is a warm and pleasant place offering accommodation for two people; ideal for a nice time " en couple " in the South of France. The accommodation is located just outside the village of Saint Cyprien (commune of Lendou en Quercy, 46800), has a private garden and parking and is completely independent from our main house. The interior is an a-typical combination of modernity and the mineral aspect of the environment here and has everything one needs for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Saint Cyprien is located in a valley that is part of the Pays de Serres; a region where five valleys of roughly equal size and beauty, run parallel towards the Garonne, 45 km away. Our valley, La Vallée du Lendou, is a spacious wide valley with wide views of the surrounding villages, fields, forests and limestone plateaus where you can walk endlessly along the white paths. The Quercy Blanc (named after its snow-white chalky soil) is distinguished from many other areas in France by the authenticity of its medieval villages and white stone farmhouses, manors and castles. Without exception, the villages are beautiful and untouched, for example Montcuq (7km), Lauzerte (11km), Castelnau-Montratier (12km), Montpezat de Quercy (30km) and many others. The larger city, Cahors (23km), is also a beautiful medieval town, located in a meander of the Lot river, where everything one expects from a city can be found.
Culturally, you will not lack anything in our area; it is a cosmopolitan mix of (extremely friendly and welcoming) locals and residents from all over the world who realise their dreams, live their retreat or indulge in their talents such as music, art etc., and share this with the public in the form of concerts, exhibitions and many other events.

We are also located on the Chemin de Saint Jacques, the pilgrimage path to Santiago de Compostela. Pilgrims or " randhonneurs " who want to enjoy some extra comfort are of course very welcome!
