"Wanted to take my girlfriend away from our lives for a birthday getaway... we got to the house as scheduled and was very easy to find the key and get in. The "tree house" was clean and ready for our stay... we had everything we needed for the weekend there as far as dishes, towels, internet ect. Was very nice views from the full lenght windows in every direction. And the view from the rear deck was a great wooded ravine with no other houses in sight for perfect privacy... we had an amazing stay...

"Our son attends UW-Platteville, so we planned a quick weekend visit. We live in So.Dak. so the drive takes most of the day. We chose to book The Windmill because we have 2 children and 2 puppies and wanted more than a room with only beds, a bathroom, and TV! When we arrived Friday early evening we easily settled in. "My friends and an amazing stay in Galena! The house was incredibly spacious and had everything we needed. It was very clean and the AC worked great for the hot weekend we were there. We loved using the pool and one day we rented a pontoon nearby on Lake Galena. I would highly recommend this stay!"

"Stayed here for a girls trip weekend to Galena. Property was clean and cozy, we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and had a nice fire one of the nights. I will say be careful of falling walnuts while sitting around the fire but other than that, there was plenty of space and the fact we all had our own bathroom was amazing.
