Also the sofas in the back room were terrible and very uncomfortable, they all need to be refilled or changed. My sister who joined us is pregnant and found it very uncomfortable to rest there. The room with the kitchen had too many tables and chairs and instead having sofas would have been nice there with the one set of table and chairs. "Three generations met for a suprise 70h birthday. Chevalier Estate is ideal for this as each family group had their own space but we could get together in the magnificent Dragon Hall. The accomodations are exceptionally well thought out and equipped. "Less IKEA more Sophie Conran" as one daughter observed. "Took my fiancé away for a birthday surprise, we both absolutely loved it, so romantic, easy check in & check out, a very homely atmosphere, neither of us wanted to leave! "Unfortunately our stay had to be cut short by 2 days as my back could not tolerate the only bed in the property which is lumpy and hard. Think of a bag of potatoes and you wouldn’t be far off. I’ll end on a positive, the rear garden is beautiful!"
