"The entire property is ideal for a tropical vacation. Not necessarily a Hawaii vacation. It was about 45 min from Kilauea, an hour from a swimmable beach, 5 minutes from Fissure 8 (private property in spots), and 25 min from the ocean. The worst part of the house was Kilauea didn’t erupt! I don’t blame Matt but I think he could’ve done something to help it erupt. All pictures were taken within 45 min of the house. "Nice place to sleep while we were enjoying various activities around the island. Please read the amenities. If you are coming from the main land and are custom to A/C. Please note that A/C is an amenitie on the Hawaiian Islands. If you get past that, the weather is fairly comfortable, ceiling fan and a floor fan was provided. Leave the windows open for a breeze.
