The Golden Mile on Belgrave Road is famous for Indian sweets and vegetarian food. De Montfort University is around 10 minutes away, and both the King Power Stadium and Welford Road are walkable on match days. The train station is around 15 minutes’ walk, with direct trains to London St Pancras in about an hour.
