Close to the coast and the pretty beaches of Tsoukalades (2.8km) and Pefkouli (3.1km), within walking distance of the shops and tavernas at sleepy Tsoulakades village and boasting a gorgeous sweeping seascape to admire from the rooms, terraces and infinity-edged pool, Sole surely offers everything needed for one or two people to enjoy a relaxing, carefree sojourn in the sunshine.
A vaulted, beamed ceiling sets off the open-plan interior which is cosy, very comfortable and designed with easy summer living in mind. Five individual sets of French windows ensure the heart of the home remains light and welcoming while also making that magnificent sea view an integral and delightful part of holiday proceedings.

Fabrics and décor are all thoughtfully colour-coordinated with walls and curtains of cooling white pleasantly offset by those soft soothing shades of cobalt, grey and green so redolent of the eastern Mediterranean. Characterful touches include a coffee table and a dining table with matching chairs attractively finished in a limed-oak style while a gently elevated sleeping area to one side houses a double bed sitting on a distinctively coloured, anodised metal frame.

Taking less than an hour to drive from one end of Lefkada to the other means you are never far away from anywhere and that includes some of the most beautiful beaches in all of Greece - Egremni (31km) and Porto Katsiki (37km) on the West coast are two notable examples that really should not be missed. Boat trips and rental as well as various seasonal water sports are widely available and the island offers some of the best sailing waters in Europe centering on state-of-the-art marinas such as Nidri and bustling Vasiliki on the East and South coasts respectively.

Please note the walk back to the villa from Tsoukalades is steeply inclined.
