With its sleek interiors, its easy flow, and its large terrace above the sea, Atlas is a wonderful villa for those who enjoy the simple pleasures in life: swimming in an irresistible infinity pool, gazing at inspiring views, popping down to Sivota Bay for a dip, and, when the sun begins its descent, strolling into the harbour village to dine al fresco at the excellent seafront tavernas.

Inside: accommodation at Atlas is all on one floor.

The main entrance takes one into the social hub of the property, a good-sized open-concept space that’s home to a living area with a large L-shaped sofa and TV, a dining table, and a well-equipped modern kitchen. Soft grey concrete walls, white ceilings, and cool tiled floors are all design leitmotifs destined to reappear throughout the property, as, indeed, are the room-wide sliding glass doors, which not only drink in the hypnotic views of Sivota Bay but also create an organic flow between Atlas’ indoor and outdoor areas.

From near the living area, a door opens into the main bedroom, a sea-view double with terrace access and an en-suite bathroom with separate shower and tub.

The remaining bedrooms, a double and two double-twins, are accessed via a corridor running past a guest shower room from near the kitchen. Each one has its own marble-clad en-suite shower room, sea views, and independent access to the pool terrace.

Outside: as mentioned above, all the rooms at Atlas open out via floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors onto a sea-view terrace that extends for the full length of the property. At the centre, sitting in pride of place and flanked on its long sides by a stretch of decking and an emerald green lawn, is the irresistible 19m-long infinity pool.

To one end of the pool is a comfortably furnished shaded sitting area, while to the other is a large al fresco dining space served by a barbecue and kitchen cleverly built into a triangular stone wall.

Last but not least, guests have use of a shared 10m-long jetty, located below the property and benefitting from private water and shore-power facilities.

Atlas' sister property, Pleione, is located just up the hill. Every effort has been made to ensure the two properties have their privacy and Atlas is not overlooked by Pleione. Should you need more space for your group, why not rent both of them?

Atlas features a fantastic infinity pool, offering swimmers stunning views while in the pool. There is a small drop from the infinity edge so we recommend children are supervised at all times. Please refer to our general safety page if you would like more information about infinity pools.

Please note that there is no real shallow end in the pool, whose minimum depth is over 2m.

Due to the nature of the property including terraces low walls and several drops around the grounds, children must be supervised at all times.

Although this property is located within walking distance of some shops and restaurants, we strongly recommend that you hire a car.
Atlas is located on the bay of Sivota in the southeast of Lefkada. The village and harbour of Sivota, with its popular waterfront tavernas, bars and cafés, its shops, its little beach and its boat hire options, is an easy stroll away (about 400m).

Apart from the sea access in Sivota Bay, there is a good selection of beaches within easy driving distance of Atlas, including those at Afteli, Ammousa, Vassiliki and Mikros Gialos.

Exploring the island of Lefkada, which is 35km long and 15km wide, is relatively easy in a week (if you can pull yourselves away from the views and pool of the villa!) and offers a great deal to see and do. The azure, transparent waters of the Ionian Sea are a real attraction and the varied coastline includes a host of golden sandy beaches and the dramatic white cliffs of Cape Lefkatas on the southern tip. The wooded mountains of the interior, some of which rise to over 1,100m, offer excellent walking, some truly beautiful scenery and a scattering of unspoilt villages where the way of life remains profoundly connected to the island's ancient traditions and customs. The island's capital, Lefkada Town is a buzzing centre with plenty of seafront tavernas and bars, a good selection of shops, and a busy marina.

At its northern point, Lefkada is connected to mainland Greece by a causeway and, via frequent ferry services from the port of Nidri, to several of the other islands of the Ionian archipelago (including nearby Meganissi), making it eminently possible to explore further afield.
