"Loved our stay! I loved this location as well! Perfectly between Toronto and Montreal! And also close to thousand islands! Loved it! Was very clean and well organized! "Beautiful property and very friendly helpful hosts… there’s so much wildlife, Barred owls and loons were calling at night, chipmunks everywhere, turtles and herons. The cottage is quite rustic, a typical family cottage with wonky linoleum and unfinished ceiling but we consider that charming - the place smelled nice and was impeccably clean, and the bed was very comfortable - we especially enjoyed sitting out on the screened deck playing board games. Also appreciate having all linens and supplies...

"We loved our 3 days and 4 nights at The Dance Hall. The wood burning stove was enjoyed and appreciated as the weather was quite cool and wet. We loved listening and watching the loons, geese and herons from the dock. We did some paddling in the kayaks provided around islands not too far from shore. The cottage is filled with interesting antiques, cookbooks, a record player and records. We would love to come again. "

"The only issue was the wi-fi. It was so slow and practically useless. One other issue was that the cottage was a part of 4 other cottages which shared a common dock and access to the river, it was not mentioned in the listing. The cottage was clean and very well equipped, and the owner was very friendly."
