"This hidden gem is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Right on the lake and minutes from great hiking, this place is hard to beat! Secluded yet close enough to Lincoln and Millinocket in case you need supplies or want to sample local food and beer. The water was still a bit cold so we didn't take advantage of the kayaks but would have loved to. We will surely be back another time!!"

"Property was as described. Ed and Michelle are very friendly and welcoming and ready to help if needed. Beautiful views of the lake from the house. We very much enjoyed our stay. We relaxed so much that I think it will be a shock to go back to work!. We may be back some day with the family!"

"It was a bit too close to a main road so road noise could be heard, particularly when sitting on the porch. There is no handrail up to the bedroom and the steps are rather steep and dark...not a good set up for older patrons or those with mobility issues. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable and a nice area to easily walk the dogs outside. The setting is very pretty on a river and canoes and kayaks are available to use."

"My family ranged in age from 19 to 70 and the property provided the perfect backdrop for all our events and antics. The pond surprised us with two good catches and a few bass. We ventured out and about into the town of Lincoln, Bangor and Aroostook county. We even had several conversations with the neighbors. "Property was as described in listing. We stayed for a weekend while visiting our UMaine student. Only a little further from campus than the hotel in Bangor and a whole lot less expensive and lots more space! Kitchen had what we needed to cook. We didn’t use the backyard but it looked nice and had a fire pit. Quiet area was perfect for us."

"This amazing cabin more than lived up to our expectations!! My family enjoyed blueberry picking, foraging for mushrooms, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, swimming, incredible sunsets, campfires, listening to the loons and just being together in nature. Our two weeks spent at the cabin were incredible. Barbara (the owner) and Mark (the caretaker) were very attentive to all our questions. We look forward to coming back!!"

"My husband dog and I, very much enjoyed the camp. So peaceful. We ended up getting up there later than planned. John waited for us. He was so kind and helpful. My car ended up having issues and needed to be fixed. I texted John. He sent me to a garage in Lincoln. They were so nice. The lake is clean and clear. So beautiful.
