"Was disappointed when we 1st arrived at house, house was listed having 3 1/2 bathrooms but only had two bathrooms. Contacted host who apologized that the listing was incorrect and was willing to refund us the second night if we wanted to move. We had a large party and we were not trying to start looking for another house. House was clean but grass outside needed to be mowed. Lots of space inside and kitchen was well stocked. "The Betty really impressed me the moment I entered the house. It was very clean with lovely decor. With quick access to Route 30, it is still in the country where horse and buggy frequently drove by. The Betty was the right size for our group of four college friends to enjoy a short reunion."

"We decided to book this as our children had a basketball tournament at Spookynook. We had a total of 15 people staying Friday -Sunday and we couldn't have asked for a better setup. Plenty of room and the amenities were top-notch. The boys appreciated being able to use the hot tub after a day of playing several games. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. "My partner and I stayed here for an early Valentine’s Day getaway. The pictures really don’t do the home justice, it is simply gorgeous & modern looking in person. The backyard was super spacious. "This was my second time at this cottage and hope to stay again. It rained the whole time! But, with such a cozy place to read and relax, listen to the rain and enjoy the ambiance it was lovely. I walked for a nice dinner at the Hideaway. I walked to Mt Gretna Mercantile for a few treats and always enjoy chatting with the sweet owners. I had an incredible lunch at Porch and Pantry. All without getting in my car. I highly recommend!"
