Getaway Moose-Hot Tub, Deck, WIFI, BBQ, Sleeps 6

Getaway Moose emulates a distinctive and cozy mountain home comfort. Gorgeous high ceilings with pine accents, a river rock fireplace and large picture windows showcase the outdoors as you enter this beautiful home.

Fully functional kitchen includes dishwasher, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and breakfast bar with stools.

A main floor bedroom with king bed attaches to the main floor bathroom with Jack/Jill sinks and a shower. There is also a washer/dryer for guests use in the mudroom outside of which you will find the hot tub under the covered deck.

Upstairs you will find a full bathroom with shower/tub and 2 more bedrooms; one with a queen bed and the other with a beautiful set of bunk beds.

The Getaway Moose is in a community that is snowmobile trail accessible and has ample parking for your trucks/trailers. We know that no matter what your visit to the area entails, the Getaway Moose will most certainly make your stay comfortable and memorable.

Fees MAY vary based on the following:

$25 per additional guest per night after base rate has been met • $12.18 per night Safely/Damage Insurance Coverage• Travel Insurance: Opt In/Out• Housekeeping fee• 5% booking fee • State/local lodging taxes. • Minimum stay requirements may vary.

* 18.9 miles to Downtown Leavenworth and 29.5 miles to Stevens Pass Ski Resort

• Unit Name: Getaway Moose
• Permit #: 000048
• Occupancy max: 6 (includes children)
• Quiet Times: Between the hours of 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM (Hot tub can still be used, just be mindful of noise levels)
• Maximum allowable vehicles: 3 cars.
• Outdoor Burning: Propane Firepit on site (no wood burning)

The driveway to this home is flat/accessible and during spring/summer/fall months has no restrictions on vehicle type that would be allowed.

*Winter months will still require 4WD/AWD/Chains* See notes below:

WINTER GUESTS:
Please be prepared along with your guests who are driving separate for this driveway during winter months when ice/snow are on the ground that a 4WD/AWD vehicle with traction tires are necessary AND carrying chains is recommended. No exceptions

While we do our best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded, winter conditions can change rapidly and make both access to and from this driveway challenging and we cannot guarantee its condition upon your arrival at any time.

Holiday Getaway

We had a fantastic Christmas stay at this cozy cabin! It was wonderfully stocked with everything we needed, and the beautifully decorated Christmas tree was a hit with the kids. The location was perfect—a quick drive to Leavenworth and its charming surroundings. Highly recommend for a magical holiday getaway!

Getaway in the trees

Had a wonderful stay overall, large cabin feel plenty of room for family. Hot tub was well maintained and private. Upstairs bathroom was a disappointment because of no window coverings. Straight shot of the neighbors cabin through the bathroom window! Enjoyed the extra large deck and flat lawn area gave us a nice area to play yard games. Property is Not secluded enough for us to stay again but the cabin is beautiful 😍

Terrific stay!

This spacious but cozy cabin was perfect for our stay of a school break with three teens. There was plenty of space to spread out and relax. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to cook meals, and every area was immaculate, including the grill. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax at the end of each day. The cabin is a good 30 minute drive from downtown Leavenworth, but we found closer options for a cute cafe and grocery store in Plain when needed. Would love to book again!

February get away

Great stay overall. We arrived and the decks were shoveled and sanded due to snow. Hottub was on and and ready, cleanliness was top notch. We will definitely be booking again when visiting the area.

We had a great stay just outside of Leavenworth, this was easy to get into town and out to Steven’s Pass. A very comfortable cabin and the hot tub was a great addition.

Perfect Snowmobile Getaway

My wife and I had a fantastic time at the Getaway Moose. The description is 100% accurate with ample room to park and maneuver snowmobile trailer(s). We really enjoyed the quiet during the winter season and easy access to the snowmobile trails from the property.

Wonderful, peaceful location close to lake

We enjoyed our weeklong stay at this property. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It's an easy drive over to the lake, and we loved the clear skies and quiet surroundings that made the house a great place to relax. We had two power outages during the stay but both were resolved fairly quickly despite the property feeling off the beaten path. Be sure to bring stuff to ward off the insects to maximize your enjoyment. We also found it helpful to bring a cooler for grocery trips, since it is a bit of a drive to a store with variety.

Snowmobiling Success!

Feel like we've found a great place to go snowmobiling from for many winters to come. The property has a good turn around spot for RV/Trailers. The snow park is a few miles away, but we found a closer and better trailhead nearby to unload the sleds and head out onto hundreds of miles of groomed trails. The house has the perfect mud-room entry where you can sit to take off your snow clothes and let them drip dry. Inside, the kitchen was pretty well stocked. Living room had nice views of the outdoor and snow, while you sit and enjoy a warm fire. So appreciative that they had the fireplace all prepp'd with kindling and logs so all you had to do was just light it, and voila...the perfect fire. Having the master on the main with bunk room upstairs allows different age groups the privacy they desire. Hot tub on the covered deck is perfect. You literally can just open the door, and it's right there. We'll probably come again in the summer because we heard from locals that there are great places nearby to put in and float the river for a few hours. The house can definitely sleep more than the 6 we were allowed to have during these COVID times, so looking forward to coming back with more family.

Wonderful property!

The house is beautiful and well laid out. There are all the amenities you could want. Loved the hot tub and fire pit. Will definitely look at coming back. My only complaint is the rules around the hot tub. It "closes" at 9p although quiet time isn't till 10p. You also are not allowed to change the temp. Traveling with small kids it was too hot for them to go in it and by the time they went to sleep it was too late for the adults to go in. Wish we could have taken advantage of it more. Otherwise it was an AMAZING stay!

Nice place near Lake Wenatchee

This was a comfortable place to rent and had most of what we needed. We visited with family, including 2 young kids. It's about 15 minutes to drive to Lake Wenatchee which is great. There are only a couple things to consider: the knives are all dull so it's hard to prep food. There's no rug in the living room so we couldn't really put our infant down to hang out there. Even with a blanket down it was still pretty hard and not great for playtime. If you travel with babies be sure to bring a pack n play and a cushiony blanket / mat for the ground. That's really it, otherwise it was a nice stay!

Cabin in the woods.

Over all, the place was nice, quiet and peaceful…could hear the river out on the patio. There were issues with the WiFi not working, called and talked to management about it. They were suppose to come by and fix it, no one showed up. Also, master bedroom closets had no hanging space, it was full of owner’s Christmas stuff and linens. The towels smelled like mildew because they were probably left in the washing machine too long.
