"We have just arrived back home from the most amazing stay at St Hilda's. We stayed in the Cairo room and the pictures do not do it justice it was just beautiful, the attention to detail is amazing. The bed was extremly comfy, we had such a lovely restful nights sleep. The room was absolutely spotless as well and has a really detailed information booklet with places to eat and drink, taxis and takeaways in it which was really handy. "We have stayed at White Horse Farm Inn before and have enjoyed our time there. It doesn't pretend to be anything other than a lovely village inn.
It is a typical village pub of it's age and time. It has the most spectacular scenery as it's stands on a plateau up the hill on the road leading to Rosedale Chimneys. Absolutely beautiful!
Our room was the very large family one so we had plenty of space.
The staff were fantastic. Friendly Yorkshire folk, nothing was too much trouble.

"Great place, made such a change from regular hotels with personal touches. Room was a great size & included a sofa & small table/chairs.
The small tea/coffee station with some breakfast options included in the room was the bit the bowled me over… a treat at 6am, cereal & fruit, new milk & yogurt, plus proper coffee bags, even a tray to carry it to the table.
I did eat downstairs within the restaurant on the 1st night which was fab… calzone pizza special & cookie dough special were both tasty &...
