A snug, updated cabin for two in the heart of the northern Black Hills. Cabin 2 keeps it simple in the best way: a comfortable king bed, a kitchenette for coffee and easy meals, a full bath, and pine-covered hillside right outside your window. You`re minutes from Deadwood`s gaming and history and close to the Terry Peak lifts, with the whole Hills at your door. Traveling with another couple or family? There are other cabins on the property for them to rent!

Cabin 2 is a comfortable, right-sized retreat for a couple, part of the historic Ponderosa Pine and freshly set up for an easy stay. Everything you need is in one bright, tidy space, with the pines pressing right up to the windows so you always know you`re in the mountains.

The room is anchored by a king bed dressed in soft, layered linens, with reading lamps, roomy closets, and a TV for winding down after a day out. A kitchenette runs along one wall with a microwave, sink, a mini fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker, everything you need for morning coffee, snacks, and a light meal without hunting for a restaurant. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and keeps a bit of the property`s vintage character.

Because this is one half of a duplex, it`s an easy pick for two travelers who want a simple, affordable Black Hills base. And when you`re rolling with a bigger crew, Cabin 1 next door is the largest unit on site with two bedrooms and a full kitchen, so booking both gives everyone their own space under one roof.

You have this cabin to yourselves. It sits on the grounds of the Ponderosa Pine, a mix of cabins and rooms, so you get your own private space with a managed, well-kept property around you.

*This is a duplex Cabin in a small park of cabins. You will hear noise from the neighboring guest and you will see other guests while on the property.

*There is no hotel lobby. Hosts live nearby but are not onsite.

*This is Pet friendly with a pet fee of $75.

As professional hosts, we want your stay to be peaceful, comfortable, and relaxing. This is a rustic, no-frills property in a beautiful setting, and we ask all guests to treat it — and others — with respect so everyone can enjoy their time here.

🚭 Smoking & Vaping
Smoking or vaping of any kind is not permitted anywhere except in the designated smoking area on the south side of the property under the covered picnic area.

If smoking occurs inside your unit, you may be charged for professional cleaning and asked to leave the property without a refund.

🐾 Pet Policy
This cabin is pet-friendly with a one-time pet fee of $75. We allow up to 2 dogs/cats as long as they are fully potty trained, will be off the bed and couch, and not left alone unless kenneled.

All pets must be on a leash at all times when outdoors.

Please clean up after your pet.

Excessive barking must be addressed immediately. If barking cannot be controlled, the dog will need to be removed from the property.

🔇 Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Please be mindful of other guests and keep voices, music, and TVs low during this time.

🧹 Damages & Cleanliness
Please treat your unit and shared spaces with care.
Guests are financially responsible for any damage, missing items, or excessive messes during their stay. If something breaks or isn’t working, let us know right away so we can help.

No illegal activity or drug use.

No aggressive, disruptive, or disrespectful behavior toward other guests, staff, or animals.

Violating any rule will result in immediate removal from the property with no refund.

This is a rustic mountain property located just off the highway.

Use caution on uneven ground and outdoor stairs.

Do not leave space heaters, PTAC units, or other electronics running unattended.

You are responsible for your own safety — we are not liable for accidents, injuries, or stolen property during your stay.

Free parking is available near your unit. Please do not block other driveways or guest areas.
