Spacious 3300 Sq. Ft. Cabin Near Terry Peak, Deadwood, Spearfish Canyon!

Step into this wonderful custom-built cabin located just blocks from the main Terry Peak Stewart Lodge and some of the best skiing in the area. You'll absolutely love the proximity to so many area attractions like ATV/Snowmobile trails, Spearfish Canyon, the Mickelson Trail, and so much more! This 3,300 square feet lodge has 3 levels with a family room and loft, along with a game room! In minutes you can be enjoying some mountain biking, skiing/snowboarding, or hopping on your ATV for a ride exploring the Black Hills sites.

This custom-built lodge comes complete with 2 stunning floor-to-ceiling rock fireplaces and log accents throughout the lodge. You will find spacious open-living areas with cozy, woods-decor. Each living room has a TV for great entertainment. The lodge has a wrap-around deck with a covered area over the private 8-person hot tub and gas barbecue grill. There is plenty of parking and a two-car attached garage. You'll also love the Foosball table giving you and your family nights full of games and enjoying each-other's company. There's additional sleeping in the family room with a full-size futon sofa sleeper.

Its was so discussing dirty very dusty . It seem like there lack on cleaning the cabin kitchen was ok food in oven and fridge and the kitchen floor was sticky and dirty cob webs every where the first bedroom the bed was broke and the closet was nasty spells like puke or pea. Some sheets had old blood on them .beautiful area but lack on the cabin .We left day early.

The home is a beautiful property and the Mountain View’s for the ride up is breathtaking. Upon arriving onto the property the outside is a bit neglected. The grass, landscaping and yard has been neglected badly. The home is very nice but in need of a refresh very badly. All of the bedding and towels are at and of life and worn out.The mattress in most of the rooms were terrible and one smelled badly of urin. Upon checking the mattress had a huge urin stain.The furniture in general is tired and the cleanliness has a lot to be worked on. The lower level was very dusty and lacked cleaning.The garage was full of dirty from the previous guests and their 4wheelers. Had to sweep it out as it was very difficult to park our motorcycles.The kitchen is very out dated and the appliances need replacing. The coffee maker was broken, I reached out to the management company and they never acknowledged or responded.I don’t recommend utilizing the hot tub. It was very gross and had not been treated with the proper chemicals. I checked the filter and it was full of bacteria, strongly recommend NOT to use.All and all it’s a beautiful property that has been neglected and in need of a complete refresh. Not one of my better rental experiences, but I wanted to be transparent and share my stay.

Excellent Property & Location

We stayed at this property for its distance from the ski lodge, which we primarily came out for! The property was clean, loved the bedrooms & bathrooms this property offered, it was perfect for our group! Communication with the property manager was excellent!

Nice but needs better maintenance and hosekeeping

The residences was as decirbed and failry conveinent for our vacation plans. Our issues were things not working in the house, such as the main living room ceiling light and fan not working, The fireplace was inoperable, water and ice dispenser on refrigerator not working, The grounds were in desperate need of mowing as the weeds were above wasit high in the yard. Most of the hot tub jets were inoperable. The WiFI/internet and Satellite-CableTV service was horrible. Partly to blame though as it appeared the previous tennants use up all the data usage and the service appeared to be dialed back because the usage was over the monthly usage limit. The biggest complaint was shoddy housekeeping. Whirlpool bath in master bathroom had stains and mildew in the jets, Bath towels smelled terrible....a stinky BO type of smell like they set in the washer too long and and turned sour. The grilling utensils in the ktchen drawer were dirty and greasy. The outdoor grill itself had to be cleaned before we could use it as it was disgustingly filthy. One of our guest found beer cans and what appeared to be a water bottle with urine in it under the bed they were sleeping on. The entire house was in need of a thorough dusting as there were dust bunnies everywhere.If you can overlook these items then the place was a nice place to stay. If the maintenance and housekeeping were better I would say this is an outstanding place for lodging in the Black Hills area.

Great location. Everything you need is here. They responded very quickly to us. The basement beds could sure use an upgrade, and the basement was cold. Could use a better clean job, but not terrible.

Great Cabin

Had great set up for large families. All the bedroom were very big. Plenty of extra blankets to use. The fireplace on the main floor and basement we could not get to work but we just turned the furnace up a little bit as it got a little chilly in the evenings. Cabin was cozy feeling and worked perfect for our family trip. booking with this company was a breeze. I will try and book with them again the next time we come out.

Family vacation

We had our annual family vacation, this is the second time we have stayed in that particular cabin and it was great. We had minimal issues and the communication between myself and property manager was easy. Hopefully it will be available again next year

Very Disappointing

We checked in at 9:00 PM and due to conditions we checked out 2 hours later at 11:00 PM. From there we had to search for lodging for 11 of us with children in tow. The temperature of the unit was 85° even though the thermostat was set at 74°. It was very hot outside (and in) and the air conditioning unit could not keep up. The lower bedroom had wet carpet from some type of water leak, so we were unable to use it. The carpet had been pulled out of the closet. However, adjacent carpet into the room was wet. The whole downstairs was damp as a result. A text sent to me by the host advised that they knew this condition existed before we checked in but said nothing. The hot tub had dirty/cloudy water and sediment in the bottom of the tub. The water smelled very bad. I have photos of the this. While we did not use any towels there were only 2 hand towels, and 0 washcloths for 11 people. There was a sufficient number of bath towels. Lastly, and least important, they advertised a pool table in the lower level however, there was none. I would also note that before we moved out, we were told that if we stayed there for the night we would have to pay for one night plus for cleaning expense. We advised that we would check out and look for other lodging. The host said that they would provide a full refund and they promptly did so, which was appreciated.

Perfect size

We had a group of 9 with 5 trucks and trailers. Plenty of room to park and relax. House was beautiful with two large areas to socialize and relax. This was our second time using this company and will again in the future. Very prompt with replies. Listing needs updating as there was no pool table or elevator. Extremely happy. 4 stars for cleanliness was only because the front of cabin was littered with garbage we had to pick up to keep it from blowing around and sand in the hot tub. Other than that it was really clean!!!

Family ski trip

Ladies get away

My girlfriends and I were looking for a house for a weekend get away. This house was perfect we all got our own room and bed. The kitchen was fully stocked and accommodating. The hot tube was hot and clean. Some of the jets were not working or very powerful but the hot water felt great after a day of skiing.

Terry Peak Ski Trip

Stayed for 5 days. Loved it. Walked to the ski resort and back (easy 5 minute walk). Property Manager was easy to deal with but never needed- so smooth! A great A+ experience

Great vacation and cabin

This was note the original cabin we pick. Somehow our cabin was not cleaned so they put us in this one and I'm very glad they did. We would not have been happy at the other cabin and it was close to the same price but this cabin was amazing, clean and had everything we needed and location by deadwood was great. We even had snow in July. It's colder in the high altitudes, bring warmer clothes. We HD an amazing time. Beautiful cabin. No internet but to much to do to need it. Would love to go back again.

Trip to nearby grocery store necessary

Kitchen is stocked with assorted dishes, pans, etc., but no "extras" for cooking for large groups. (ie: baking dishes, etc.) Need to bring your own napkins, paper towels, soap, shampoo, etc., or make a quick trip to the store. Accommodations were great for our family gathering, great location.

Nice place

This is a nice place. It is quite a ways to drive to the attractions in the black hills. The house is great the only down side was a note not to use the air conditioner below 78 that’s ridiculous just fix the problem!! But the nights are cool so it’s doable.
