"This property had absolutely everything. We had 11 adults and 12 children. We aged in range from 2 months to 70. The space for cooking, sleeping, relaxing and playing was wonderful. Don't bring beach towels, pool toys, lawn toys or any indoor games because this house has it all. Plenty of life vests for boating unless you have small ones that you prefer in a fitted size to them. "The house and property were amazing. The beds and linens were cozy. We felt very at home there. The kitchen, bathrooms and utility room were all more than adequately stocked. We brought groceries and cooked and ate at the house each day & night. We much enjoyed our time there. If you are looking for a place to go and do nothing but relax, sit on the dock, enjoy the hot tub and views, this is your place. "We had an incredible time during our stay at Lake Gaston thanks to our helpful hostess providing a lovely property to spend our trip at. The backyard had a great firepit, a choice of grills for BBQing, and plenty of seating to spend dinner with family and friends. The boat launch being in the backyard also allowed convenient access to drop in for water activities whenever we wanted. Will definitely have to visit again for our next lake trip. and friends. "

"For being right at the lake the rate is very affordable. We took the kayaks out and walked into the water to cool off after we got back. There is no boat dock but we weren’t planning on renting a boat for the week anyway. We went out for dinner one night at WatersView Restaurant on the north side of the eating ferry bridge. The fried captain’s platter and spicy margarita was great. We also drove to the Palmer Point Park at the Kerr Reservoir. The beach was great. We stopped at lucky’s grill...

"We found the home to be spacious and well stocked. We used both the grill and the Blackstone grill. Owner did a nice touch point to make sure we were able to get in with no issues. We rented a pontoon boat and docked it at the homes dock. The lake is massive and deep. My kids caught a lot of catfish right off the dock. I would recommend this home. "

"The property was very nice, clean, spacious. My family and I had a great time celebrating and enjoying each other's company. The community was very clean and the neighbor was very friendly. Our stay was nothing but pleasant and comforting. "

"The house is in a great location with everything you need to relax and unwind. We had three generations and all of us had the best time. There was plenty of room and the house was very well kept. There are puzzles and board games and a huge yard with a dock. The owners were so kind through the entire process. "
