Fabulous

My favorite little Airbnb!
This was the 4th stay at this property, the last time being back in 2019, and it's every bit as delightful as I remembered! It's such a roomy, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located place. This was the first time taking our adult children and they loved it also! I highly recommend this cute place and will definitely be returning for another visit! Thank you!

Lava hotsprings weekend
It was a good place and convenient to all the activities of Lava Hot springs, but I’m not a fan of staying below the host’s house, it felt like we were unable to completely relax and enjoy the weekend without feeling like we were invading their space. The bathrooms were a little dirty and we killed a bunch of bugs while there.

Home was a great spot to spend the night on our motorcycle trip. Clean and accommodating for all of us. A little bit far from town but we managed. Overall a great experience and well priced for the last minute booking.

Clean well taken care of property
Pictures are accurate. We rented the whole basement. The place was ready for us when we arrived. everything was clan and fresh. Owners obviously actively care for the property. We would gladly stay here again

Beautiful place to stay.
The place was extremely nice and made you feel at home. Extremely clean and roomy. The beds were very comfortable. The view over the valley and rolling hills was beautiful and peaceful. The attention to details in all the kitchen amenities was unbelievable. But it was not just the equipment in the kitchen, it was the fact that you had towels supplied for the hot springs if needed along with beach chairs for the pool. If you forgot anything, there is a very large chance that they have supplied you some. It is a little outside downtown, but you are talking 3 minutes to the pool and 5 minutes to the hot springs. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Would I recommend it to other people? Already have. We had all 3 rooms for 5 adults and two kids. We were never in each others way it was so roomy. The hosts from the very beginning were quick to respond to any questions. We are already talking about next time!

Very comfortable house in a beautiful peaceful setting, yet close to town.
Very pleased with place and experience. Kids loved roaming to the pond and swing set. Kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner and breakfast. They were very accommodating. Had concerns about it being in a basement with us having kids with us, but was no problem. Kids enjoyed the grounds. Close to everything, but once there you’re happy to stay put. Highly recommend.

Great stay!
Our first time staying in Lava, and what a gem! Didn’t realize it was rentable as separate units, but we had the entire basement unit. The Great Room furniture has been updated since the pictures on the listing were taken & it’s both beautiful and comfortable. Great for families & lots of space. Clean and quiet. Definitely would stay again & can’t wait to take advantage of the outdoor space in warmer weather!

Beautiful, spacious, family friendly spot just outside of Lava Hot Springs
The pictures don’t do this property justice. It has obviously been updated since the posted pictures from 2016. Everyone in our party raved about how nice this rental is. Very spacious, the separation of the master bedroom and the two bedroom suite made it convenient for the two families in our party to have fun together but also have our own space when needed. The great room is exactly that. It is great! Plenty of room for all of us to hang out, nice size kitchen, dining room and living area. The owners have thought about and provided just about everything you would need for a fun vacation. Including marshmallow roasting sticks that came in handy around the fire pit outback. They were also very responsive to the questions/requests we had. Very easy to work with! Thanks so much! Would definitely rent this property again!

Our family so enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. "Home" because it felt soo comfortable and welcoming. The view and fireplace, the kitchen was well stocked, the hot springs were only a short drive to town. And Rosalee was the best to work with. Always responded quickly to our requests and questions. This property was just as it was advertised. Close to Lava Hot Springs, clean, plenty of space. We rented the entire downstairs and we couldn’t have been happier with it. It came with everything. Highly recommend! We had to unexpectedly host a family gathering (20+ people) and the owner had no problem with it. The spacious back yard helped or course. Thank you for letting us stay!

The house was beautiful and roomy the views were georgous. And it was really close to where we wanted to be. A covered area for the kids to play would have been nice. But even without that I would stay there again. I loved it.

Was nice and easy to stay at..just think if your going to pay over 400 for 1 night . Should come with t.v. accommodations .. had to make an account on Netflix just to watch t.v .

Thank you for coming! There is a TV and cable plus DVD players in the great room and two bedrooms. The TVs are smart TVs with access to the streaming apps. We used to have our personal accounts signed in for streaming but was notified by one of our services that it’s not allowed to use it that way. So guests do need to sign in to their own streaming accounts when visiting. Sorry for that inconvenience!

Great getaway
This was a great location. Close enough to run into town but felt like a secluded getaway. Big yard to play in. Kids could run around freely. Very roomy. Everyone loved it and my kids keep asking to go back. Provides everything you need. Communication was a breeze. Would definitely return!

We’ve been doing an annual overnight trip to Lava Hot Springs since 2011 and wish we had known about this gem sooner. I don’t think we’ll stay anywhere else in the future. It was so clean and cozy/comfortable. The layout was perfect for our 2 families. The shampoo/body wash dispensers were so convenient. I can’t think of anything that would have made it better. We loved it!

Great place out of main street but close enough to run into town. Bit slow on the snow removal so if it snows and you need to leave early might be an issue. Place was well kept and nicely furnished. Would deffenitly come back here again!

Very nice place, bad neighbors
The property was very nice and exactly as described. It was me and 9 friends and we were in Lava for my 32 birthday. Quiet time was at 11 pm but we weren't ready for bed so we decided to make cookies and listen to music. At 11:20 pm an elderly woman literally bursts through the door (we are all LGBTQ+ and most of us were Hispanic/black) she looked at us with disgust and told us "people like you don't belong here". I understand quiet time is at 11 and we did have music playing, but if you rent somewhere out for 10 people, you have to expect that there will be some noise. The upstairs tenants should NOT have the ability to literally storm in and harass guests who paid a lot of money to have a good time. There was no lock on the door that connects to the upstairs. The lady yelled at us, threatened to call the police on us, told us we don't belong there, then demanded we go to sleep. Again, this was 11:20 pm only 20 minutes past quiet time and we were not being excessively loud. I emailed the host and she was very quick to respond. She refunded me for one night of our two night stay and promised to put a deadbolt on the door the next day. We were uncomfortable but agreed to continue our stay if a lock was added to prevent another incident. Unfortunately the host was unable to find someone to install the lock. We barricaded the door and didn't have any other problems with the neighbors but we were very on edge the rest of our trip. The host did everything she could to correct the issue and I don't blame her at all. I didn't know whether to include the incident in my review but I felt it would be irresponsible of me not to mention it for future guests. If you're planning a quiet family vacation where you're in bed by 9pm, this place will be great. If you're visiting from out of town to relax with your friends, this probably isn't the place for you.

A deadbolt has been added to the guest side of the door for your comfort. As for the implication of anything more than her frustration with the noise and activities, I am confident it was not intended since her own family and dearest friends have a lot of varied backgrounds, preferences and colors of skin. Everyone is always welcome here!
