"My wife and I stayed 2 nights and was very satisfied. We didn’t make use of the amenities so I am not able to comment on them. The term “Resort” is a little misleading however as for hotel accommodation, it is good. While a little dated, the Methven Resort has all that is needed for a comfortable stay. "Unit was clean but very dated and needs a complete overhaul. Staff were sick so never saw anyone. A instruction manual for the television would be a help as I could not get it to work and there was a program I specifically wanted to see. Other clients also could not get there tv to go. Heater was very efficient and shower was good but don’t turn tap on in kitchen while someone is in the shower. "

"The checking in was frustrating we arrive at one o’clock now one in office so came back at 2 o’clock now one there so phoned told she won’t be far. Half an hour later 4 customer waiting the lady finally arrived. Not a good look. There was 2 of us stay for 3 nights. Only one lot of toiletries in the bathroom and on the second day asked for more toilet paper. Sorry you have to pay for more.
