"The rooms at the Rainbow Lodge are undergoing a significant upgrade. As we arrived, they were just re-hanging the door to our bathroom. Charles, the manager, does a great job of managing the work, and we were very comfortable with the accommodations. Our room was freshly painted, with new linen on the bed and blackout curtains on the windows. It also looked like we had a new microwave and minifridge. "What an absolutely unique and charming property! W everything was just perfect, comfy and pampering. The hot tub, the pool, the bed, the kitty cats. The view was spectacular and the stars at night.... Unreal. It is accessible to Sonoma and Russian River and we just had a wonderful time. Thank you Melinda and Jerry, Mickey and Vinne "

"Great house- plenty of room for everyone-fenced yard for the pups- caught bass, bluegill all released. The lake was starting to turn, so no swimming. Only nit-pick-cooking pans kind of groty. Loved the stove!"

"Fit our group of 9 and accommodated our activities.Definitely good spot for bird enthusiasts and bass fishers (a few came up and fished at our dock while we were here).We're able to go to Upperlake and Clearlake pretty quickly, so it was a good central hub. Local market was convenient."

"Lovely house well appointed with charming decor. Kitchen is roomy and has every gadget you could want. Living room is comfy with a large smart tv. But the huge selling point for us was the outstanding back yard which is literally right on the water with a private dock perfect for fishing. There is a beautiful big shade tree for the summer months, as well as a shaded picnic table so you can eat outside in comfort. We are birders and this place was outstanding for birding. We saw: Black Crowned...

"We had a great time in the cabin. It was well stocked, had a nice layout, and was bigger than expected. The bunk bed are creatively placed and reminiscent of a cubby hole. The property is undergoing upgrades to the public restrooms so it will be even better soon. "

"This property was perfect for hosting our Varsity Basketball Team and coaches… between games they explored the property and fed the animals… everyone had a bed, shared meals together. A beautiful peaceful environment, and now that we know about the little cabins on the property, hopefully we can do it again and have Parents staying close by too! Coach said it was a great experience and he would definitely do this again."
