"The host was communicative and responsive. The initial directions were a bit unclear, but the host promptly responded. However, it is a basement apartment and the sole egress was blocked by what appeared to be some sort of HVAC unit. Additionally, the electricity appeared to be a bit rigged as there were adapters plugged into surge protectors. At one point the breaker tripped, but it was handled expeditiously. "Parking was at a premium. If renting a car, good luck finding a place to park it. The property had an "old" smell upon entering. There was no empty storage for our things for a multi-day stay. We were also bitten many times by some insect, most likely in bed."

"The location of this listing couldnt be better! Walkable and safe neighbor, central to all DC has to offer! The house is well equipped and beautifully kept. Modern amenities with historic charm. Upon arriving some of the new appliances took some getting used to. Once we received the welcome guide via email it made more sense. We were surprised to realize the breezeway and patio are shared with a neighboring business/office. Which felt a little odd as we thought we had the patio to ourselves so...

"This home was absolutely perfect for us! My husband and I took our first family trip to DC with my 12-year old and my dog. The house was clean and provided plenty of space. It is in a wonderful location and we were able to walk to great restaurants, sights, and museums. The host was incredibly responsive while we were looking at the house and continued to check in after we arrived. The guidebook for the house was super helpful. I would highly recommend this home!"
