"This was a beautiful cabin in a very quiet peaceful location.We enjoyed the quiet, the woods all around us and the wildlife we saw while driving around. The cabin was spotless. The Host could not have been more helpful. He is an excellent communicator and made sure that everything was just so for us. Check in was simple, as was check out.The area is a bit remote (20-25 minutes to town) which is exactly what we were looking for. The porch, the deck and the fire pit were so inviting...

"This property is a great—set back 200’ or so off a fairly quiet road with peaceful woods behind. The home is well-furnished, the kitchen stocked with quality (not flimsy) cookware and goods. The bedrooms and baths are spacious. Our group of seven had plenty of room to gather—on the front porch, in the large dining room, and even cooking together in the kitchen. It never felt overcrowded. "Prefect for a weekend away! The shack had everything we needed. The loft bedroom was a hit for our 7 year old. Beds were comfy and there were plenty of blankets. We were able to walk into town and also explored the old rail lines. West side deli was prefect to sit outside and eat lunch. Quick drive to Loyalsock for hiking. Make sure you pack warm, it gets chilly! Deck was great for a cup of coffee in the morning. Really a cool little spot especially if anyone in your family loves trains. "

"Thanks for sharing your welcoming cottage for our stay! We enjoyed kayaking and I took the rowboat out and caught a 20” LMB across the Lake from the decision city. The anchor rope broke as it was frayed at the end. Also the ants were very assertive in the kitchen until we put all food in the refrig.Best regards Tom and Sylvia"

"We had a wonderful time visiting Ricketts Glen and World End State Parks, only 20 mins away. The house is exactly as described in the listing. Very clean!! Quiet setting in the mountains. The new charcoal grill was an excellent addition. We also enjoyed the mamma and baby deer that visited every day. Plenty of outdoor space to play yard games we brought with us. "The layout of the house is a little funky. You get to the downstairs and two of the bedrooms by going through the garage but wow…the downstairs is special!
