Diana was such a pleasant and gracious host. She gave recommendations of places to make sure to visit and they did not disappoint! The room was clean and had a beautiful atmosphere. I would highly recommend staying here and looking forward to my next visit.

Entering'The Whimsical Dream' of a Boutique Hotel is The d'light! Yay for Rich Textiles and free flowing Ivy and herbs! Playfully Elegant is not for Everyone but as a d'signer I feel it blends well with The Amazing LakeView. Best Best!

The property is very unique. The view of the south end of the lake is nice. I thought this was a B & B it was not, my bad? No coffee? Grounds and rooms are in need of repair. Our room had mold in the br. The room was so humid it needed a dehumidifier running 24hrs? Keeper is trying her best but over whelmed. There are much better values for the $ TY

You Proved The Breakfast Balcony Floor above You was A place of Quiet'tude and I guess a Secret Too!! IE 24/7 Yes Coffee Teas Chocolate Cake Available and Breakfast Café Too! Cho'Zen Rooms! Your Given Choices! Most of Us Say,,, WOW and Yay for The French Country decor with rich textiles and French Doors to a Private, Spacious CourtYard,,, wait a minute that's what you said too! (...and you only had on fan...Brand New Humidifier Needed The Button saying 'Dehumidify' !!! Yes, one More Big Issue! Tacky decor and strong mildew smell
The decor of the “French country room” was low-budget neo French brothel… really tacky. what was most disappointing though was the fact that the room, which is located in the daylight basement of the house, smelled overpoweringly strongly of mildew. We stayed out as late as possible and escaped before breakfast.

What a wonderful place!
This place is simply amazing. We had an excellent view of the lake. The owner was so friendly. The breakfast was great and enjoy the Jacuzzi. Looking forward to going back.

The hostess, Diane, was pleasant and welcoming. The site was beautiful, with a Lake view and clear sight lines. The rooms were pretty and comfortable.

Very uncomfortable and not what was advertised
I was disappointed online it said I had a private hot tub there was no hot tub it said I had a private balcony my balcony was basically first floor right next to the entrance door to the hotel with two French doors that looked right into my room with no TV no phone I and my wife felt uncomfortable and I will never use a bed and breakfast again after this visit we told the desk we were not staying as it was not what was advertised we went to a hotel foe our trip and should not have been charged for leaving

A great find!
We were greeted by Diana upon arrival, we were early but this didn't pose a problem as we were able to enjoy the balcony and beautiful view before heading to our room. The setting is quiet and serene, we saw lots of wildlife and went for a short, but steep, walk down to the lake. A great spot to relax and rewind!

It was Quiet. Nonrestrictive. Not very appealing. Three spiders in the shower and a mud wasp in the room along with a fly. No TV available and parking was allowed to block the advertised view.

Amazing Litttle Treasure
We pulled up to the house and were a little suprised it was in a remote beautiful area with distance lake view. After meeting the owner D we had a tour of the resort. D was amazing a very kind per and made us feel right at home. Each room had cute theme. The town of Ithaca was really fun we stayed 2 days. The water falls and parks were beautiful.

Lower Your Expectations
I had booked a room with a view of the lake. However, one only gets a view of the lake if you leave the room and walk around the bushes. Air conditioning was not functioning, and it was a hot day. For what we got, it was expensive. Rather disappointing overall.

We were upgraded as soon as we arrived. We had a gorgeous room with a breathtaking view!! I would highly recommend staying here and we will be returning!

This is a hidden gem in Lansing and wine area. Don't expect the latest in TV's of other high tech (although internet is supplied). This is a throw back to rest and relaxation. We went off season on the cusp of bad weather so did not get to explore the grounds. Diana the owner was very helpful as well as the staff. Eclectic books are spread around - you could spend a week just reading them. In the Ithaca area there are some good hotels and some bad ones - but this is more bed and breakfast than hotel - worth checking out.

Very relaxing stay
Great location, outside of town but convenient to Ithaca and surrounding area. Diane is a great hostess, our room was excellent and quiet, with a balcony and a beautiful view of Cayuga Lake in the distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice but not for me
As the name revealed but not so, it wasn't on the lake. Sure the view is beautiful, the accommodations were neat; little mixture of boho chic and psichadyllic decor. Large bathroom in the villa where I stayed. I traveled alone and wished there were some kind of shades on the large windows. No air condition, I did not turn on the fan due to the accumullation of layers of dust on the blades. Carpet was stained. This is a beautiful venue for parties, celebrations, weddings with plenty of room. Breakfast is extra charge, coffee in the main house. Situated back off a busy road, one could still hear the semi trucks up the hill. Nice, but not for me. Check your credit card balances, I was charged twice..

An amazing inn! Diane was the perfect host! Such a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere! Great recommendations for restaurants in Ithaca and the surrounding area. If the opportunity arises, we will definitely stay at the Cayuga Lakefront Inn again. All in all a very good experience!

Cayuga LakeFront Inn & VineYard Event Villa's are part of The Boutique Hotel. The Private Country Estate's are minutes from Cornell University or Ithaca Town! The Inn is located on The Cayuga Lake Wine / Art Trail. The Panoramic Lake Views are Amazing!!! A Wonderful Alternative to Ithaca Hotels!

The Inn was spectacular and we definitely plan to return. Diane pays so much attention to detail and it shows! The rooms are impressive - the breakfast was a work of art! The views were simply breathtaking. The bed was so comfortable. Perfect accommodations - can’t say enough about it. My new favorite place!

Miles from the lake
This is not Lake Front. It is a distant view (as in at least 3 miles as the crow flies). We had a lovely time in spite of the deceptive name of this establishment, largely because it was not busy and we enjoyed privacy on the patio.

Beautiful View
We enjoyed the location and the beauty. The staff owner very friendly very helpful. The only downfall was the king size bed was very very soft and I didn't get a good night sleep as it bothered my back. It felt like I was sleeping at an angle with my head towards the bottom and my feet up in the air. Would highly recommend this place to anybody who wants a beautiful view

This hotel is amazing
The rooms and the service were amazing. Tony took care of my family like his own. Preparing our rooms and meals. Though the lack of a TV surprised me, we did not miss it with wi-fi and absolutely gorgeous scenery. I highly recommend this getaway to anyone who craves peace and serenity and in redouble service. You'll want to go back again again.

The host Tony was being rude and standoffish......
It's called a bed and breakfast but you pay $25 extra for two peoples breakfast. How stupid is that? And he didn't even offer a complimentary cup of coffee. And you couldn't so much as sneeze...its like a mortuary there do not go if you make any noise at all......

It worked wonderfully,,,well, almost everyone agreed! and Lonnie,,,'Respectful' is up on top of Our 'Wish List'!!! Bringing & Hearing Your Boom Box was Inn-deed, UnExpected!!!
