"A more traditional hotel, with lots of period features. We received a warm welcome from the staff. The Executive Room we had been allocated had a huge, and very comfortable, bed, and there was plenty of space in the room, with good hanging space and a sofa in the bay window. The bathroom was a little dated, but entirely functional. The hotel is close to the centre, but has lots of free parking to the rear. We did not have breakfast. We would definitely use this hotel in the future."

"Overall stay was good, but will be ask for a £50 pending deposit but will be explained before entering the room about the use of entrance and room keys what the deposit is used for due to previous guest getting keys muddled up with the wrong doors and having to call a locksmith. The host explained the use of the shower by using a switch to get hot water and explained about just flushing toilet paper in the bowl instead of any sanitary products that may affect the deposit. "Went to Nottingham for a concert and booked here for the price and convenience. We arrived an hour before check in so there was a small fee but the room price was decent so that wasn’t too much of a problem. Room was tidy and clean and the areas around the reception/bar was clean and tidy. We didn’t eat there as we were meeting friends in town. Would definitely stay here again "
