Sweet Retreat~Eclectic 2-Bedroom Apartment in Lovely Lanesboro

River's Retreat is our bright and sunny apartment in the heart of Lanesboro, with the bike trail, canoe & tube rental, shops and dining right outside your door. This is the upper floor of a duplex, one of the original houses in Lanesboro. It is newly renovated, preserving the old character, but with an eclectic vibe, original art, soft bedding and all the amenities to make you feel right at home. We also have a bike storage shed and charging station for your EV or bike.

This is a two bedroom apartment, the upper floor of a duplex. Bedroom one is a queen bed; the second bedroom has two twin beds that can configured as a king bed; the living room has a trundle bed, perfect for little ones, perhaps not as comfy for adults. It is quiet between apartments, and you have your own entrance and parking in back for up to four cars. The space also includes private backyard access with a fire pit, bbq grill and smoker, and a herb and vegetable garden for you to help yourself :) You can ride or ski out to the bike trails, which are across the street.

We do our best to include all the amenities we can think of, including fresh coffee beans, burr grinder and several different types of brewing options, a rice cooker, "good" knives, crock pot, fondue pot, s'mores accessories and more! (Yes, thrifting for special things for this place is my favorite :) The wood floors in the bedrooms are original to the house, and being painted dark, they show imperfections easily. They get extra attention when cleaning, and we dig the old, funky character they bring. Anyhoo, we'd love to host you and especially cherish the messages we get about guests laughing around the kitchen island, playing cards, sitting round the fire, playing games or having a movie night after an active day in lovely Lanesboro.
