"Very attractive grounds, par 3 golf course in very poor shape however. Good sporting amenities. Room very dated with non functional ceiling fan, no laundry service or on site launderette. No light breakfast choice even though there is a cafe/bar that could provide this easily. Generally acceptable but could be much better."
"Beautiful hotel, wonderful position and stunning views of the bay. I was a bit dubious about the valet parking, but it worked well (and I wouldn't have wanted to fit my car into the car park!). All the staff were helpful and friendly and my single room was well equipped and comfortable. Having a massage in the hotel spa before we left on our last day was the icing on the cake. Big thank you to everyone at the Harbour Hotel and Spa."

We are high end travellers and this is probably the best service we have ever experienced. The staff were very attentive and obviously take great pride in their work and the property. The food quality was excellent and consequently we ate there most nights."
"It was our first trip to Cornwall and we stayed at this hotel for 9 nights. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and gave useful tips for our trip, such as taking the train from St Erth to get to St Ives (i.e. don't drive!). We booked this hotel as we wanted to have access to a pool with our young children and the facilities were great, and also included a hot tub. Breakfast was always great and the staff were friendly and attentive, and there are options to cater for coeliacs like myself....

"Perfect location - nothing better than going for a daily sea swim at the beach at the bottom of the garden.
We had a garden view room with a balcony that looked through the gardens and to the sea - made for idyllic mornings and evenings.

"Hotel was ok but the self-service check-in and check-out is cold, unfriendly and unwelcoming. It’s like ordering at a fast food restaurant and definitely not in keeping with this standard of hotel.
The car park is a reasonable size but mostly occupied by spa members. When we arrived the only space left was in front of the hotel so my wife and I went to check in and ask reception where we should park. With nobody around, and just the screen to check in, we were left to roam around and try to...
