Welcome to L'Authentique, a charming farmhouse situated in the village of Landrais in Charente-Maritime. Just 10 minutes from Surgères TGV station, 20 minutes from the beaches of Châtelaillon and 35 minutes from La Rochelle, the house offers the perfect getaway for your holidays — and an equally refreshing change of scenery for a team-building day away from the usual meeting rooms.
 
As with all our holiday cottages, we are committed to welcoming you into a peaceful environment that's ideal for both socialising and focusing. Come and recharge your batteries whilst enjoying all the comforts the house has to offer, and set off to explore the region's must-see attractions (a list of activities is available on our website).
 
From the moment you arrive, you'll be immersed in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Your comfort and well-being are our top priority.
 
On the ground floor, you'll find a 45m² living area with an open-plan kitchen leading into the dining room, where you can enjoy cosy moments with family, friends or colleagues. You'll also find a large 30m² lounge offering a comfortable space to relax — ideal for setting up your workspaces during the day — as well as a shower room with a toilet, washing machine, tumble dryer and storage space.
 
The first floor is divided into two separate wings, each accessible via its own staircase. In each wing, you'll find a cosy bedroom with a double bed for peaceful nights, as well as a welcoming dormitory equipped with a double bed and two single beds, ideal for families or groups of friends. Each wing also has its own bathroom or shower room with a toilet, ensuring absolute comfort.
 
Step outside and be charmed by the vast, enclosed 3,000 m² plot surrounding the house, featuring an idyllic garden where you can practise yoga at sunrise, work in the fresh air, or simply relax to the sound of birdsong. A private, fenced-off swimming pool invites you to cool off on hot summer's days, whilst a terrace with a barbecue promises unforgettable evenings under the stars.
 
High-quality bed linen and bath towels are provided.
A travel cot and a high chair are also available.
 
Local amenities are just a 5-minute drive away, giving you access to everything you need to make your stay as pleasant as possible (grocery shop, bakery, mini-market, newsagent and chemist).
