In the heart of Lancaster Co Amish Country, very near Sight & Sound

Located on a quiet side street in the beautiful Lancaster County. It is a quarter acre property that is well-maintained with a newly remodeled bi-level house (exterior still needs work, dont let that scare you). A solid block house built in the 1950s, has lots of charm, hardwood floors and neutral colors. Three bedrooms, one full bath, fully equipped kitchen, and living room area. It has a yard out back if you enjoy sitting outside.
Sight & Sound Theater (4.4 miles), American Music Theater, Dutch Wonderland, Strasburg Railroad, Choo Choo Barn, Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, Lancaster Convention Center, American Music Theatre, Amish Buggy Rides all within 10-20 minutes of here. Towns of Bird-in-Hand, Intercourse, Strasburg, Paradise, Lancaster City and even Lititz are all very near-by. Very centrally located. Many chain restaurants with-in 5-10 minutes, and Tanger Outlets too!! Also some specialty restaurants such as Katies Kitchen, Diennerā€™s, Millerā€™s Smorgasboard, Agape Cafe, Village Cafe, Tomato Pie Cafe, & Hudson Botanical. Best coffee shop aroundā€¦ Latte Luv by far the best (has 3 locations, 2 are walk-in,Paradise location is drive-thru only).
All of the tourist attractions near-by but the property is located on a quiet off street. Family oriented neighborhood with Amish neighbors across the street.

ALSO NOTE- ABSOLUTELY NO parties allowed on this property. Any signs of a group gathering will be reason for owners to terminate your stay.

Family weekend getaway

My husband and I came up for our 16th wedding anniversary and decided to make it a family getaway. We had an amazing and comfortable stay! The house was clean and cozy and perfect. Will definitely come stay again as we try to make multiple trips each year.

Driving up to property I was glad we were prewarned that it was rough. However, once we entered, the house was homey, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Bettyā€™s house was perfect and offered everything we needed. Thank you for a providing such a great place for our girls trip.

Exactly what we needed!

Bettyā€™s House was exactly what we needed for our weekend trip to Lancaster. Weā€™ve been coming to this area for soccer tournaments for years, and I wish Iā€™d found this place sooner. It ended up being just 4 minutes from our early morning game, it couldnā€™t have been any better! The location was easy to find and on a quiet street, but still less than 10 minutes to the outlets. The house had plenty of space for our family of four, with three nice bedrooms and a large couch in the living room. You can tell that things have been updated and well cared for. We werenā€™t there long enough to use the outside area, but there is a nice covered patio out back. The hosts provided everything we could need, from linens to soaps to k cups. Sad to say this was our sonā€™s last tournament, but if weā€™re ever in the area again, would definitely rent again. Highly recommend staying here!

Just Right

We stayed one night as part of a trip to the Sight and Sound Theater. The home was just right for a quick stay. It was comfortable, had everything we needed, and the neighborhood was convenient to the theater, restaurants and shopping, but was quiet and not on a busy street.

Such a wonderful place to stay, it felt like home!Would definitely stay there again. The hostā€™s were very friendly and went above and beyond. It had snowed during our stay and the driveway, walkways and even our cars were cleaned off. It was also nice to know the story behind Bettyā€™s house!

This property was just what we hoped for our stay in the area. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. There were such nice touches that are often lacking in rentals but make the stay so much more home-like such as plenty of towels, towel hooks, hangers, blankets, etc. Everything in the listing was honest and accurate and the owners were incredibly responsive and welcoming.

Bettyā€™s House was very well located for our day trips to Amish farms and downtown Lancaster. The house was extremely clean, great kitchen and living room area for relaxing in the evenings with friends. We were all very comfortable, thank you for a lovely stay!

Girls shopping trip

Our stay at Bettyā€™s house was absolutely wonderful! The pictures of the home do not do it justice!! The property is easy to find and so beautiful inside. We had 6 ladies on our shopping trip and there was so much space. Lots of space to all sit together on the sofa and chat. The property managers were friendly and easy to work with. We were excitedly planning an annual trip to Bettyā€™s house we had such a great stay!!!

Comfortable, Clean and Modern

We had a great time. Traveled with some of our elder family members who hadnā€™t been to Lancaster/Amish country in 20+ years. After lots of shopping and walking this was a great place to relax. Living area was very relaxing, we watched movies, played games. Iā€™d recommend this place to anyone traveling in a group. The 6 of us fit comfortably and enjoyed our stay away from our Usual Big cities.
