Relax and unwind overlooking 70+ acres of beautiful preserved farmland. Magnolia Cottage was built 10 years ago and is both charming and modern. The living space includes beautiful hardwood floors, large windows with natural light, a beautiful wraparound porch and back patio so that you are always surrounded with a beautiful farm view. The spacious 5-bedroom house is perfect for remote work and schooling, reunions, family vacations and needed escapes to the country. Magnolia Cottage is easily accessible to many local destinations, including Downtown Lancaster, Hershey Park and Amish Country. Come enjoy the peacefulness of Lancaster County. We hope that you will find rest in this scenic location.

The Space

Enjoy overlooking beautiful farmland, with the amenities of quality beds, a fully stocked kitchen, Amish-made dining room table, and a living room with a gas fireplace and Smart TV. The wraparound porch is perfect for relaxing, bird watching, reading a book, and drinking coffee. The patio provides the perfect location for an evening of grilling and making sā€™mores over the fire pit.

The kitchen is fully stocked with a coffee pot, fridge, a gas stove top, two ovens, microwave, dishwasher, and toaster. You will also have pots, pans, silverware, cooking utensils, and dinnerware for your use.

There are 5 bedrooms on the second floor. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and en suite bathroom including a double vanity and walk-in shower with a rain shower head. Three bedrooms have two twin beds, which can be used as two beds or easily combined to make a king-sized bed. One bedroom has a full-sized bed. There are two additional bathrooms (3 full bathrooms total) on the 2nd floor. Each contains a double vanity, bathtub and shower. One, Jack and Jill bathroom, is in-between two of the bedrooms. We provide towels and washcloths for you, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There is also a washer and dryer available for use on the first floor.

The home is equipped with high-speed internet and includes a TV with wireless access to Netflix, Hulu, etc. The finished basement has a ping pong table.

The backyard is perfect for grilling, games, and sitting around the fire. There is a basketball hoop in the driveway, and the surrounding area draws people from all over the county for long bike rides. Within walking distance is Danielā€™s Den Playground, that includes a Ā½ mile walking trail, sports fields, and a creative playground for children.

It was so nice to stay at this property. Plenty of room for our 7 member family. Loved the layout of the house. We even had a campfire one night. Nice and private too. Didnā€™t have to worry about neighbors right next door. Highly recommend staying at this vacation rental!
Loved the back patio with the fire ring. Was great sitting around at night. Also played games in the back yard.

We are a group of ladies who gather every year for a week. This may have been the best yet. We are contemplating returning next year. The views out our windows were magnificent. Magnolia Cottage is exactly what we needed for our annual Lancaster County getaway. The house is beautiful and spacious. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and accommodating. Everyone talked about how comfortable the mattresses are. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The views are spectacular! We absolutley loved the sunrises and sunsets. It was a pleasure to have Janine as our host. She was responsive and informative. We are grateful to Janine for sharing her wonderful home with us. All in all, a fun and memorable weekend!

This house was spacious and perfect for our 8 coworkers! The grounds are spectacular. In our downtime thereā€™s ping pong, basketball and a fire pit. Itā€™s close enough to stores and highways but with no neighbors..just surrounded by corn!! Everyone had a wonderful time!

In the area for a wedding, my sister, our husbands and four adult children thoroughly enjoyed our stay ā€œMagnolia Cottageā€. There was ample room to gather in both small and large groups throughout the home and or porch or back patio. The kitchen is spacious and nicely appointed. We enjoyed gathering around the fire pit in the evenings and spent most mornings on the covered porch enjoying coffee together! The area has multiple markets and other commercial options for grocery and various supplies. We loved our stay and recommend this property with comfort and confidence!

I rented the Magnolia Cottage for a small 50th year reunion of 9 friends. The living, dining and bedroom spaces were ideal. Communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. The location was a lovely Lancaster County setting while still being close to the city of Lancaster.

Where to begin? The views from this home were spectacular, even with a little rain. It was so very peaceful and quiet. The beds were absolutely the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on. The rooms were a perfect fit for our group of 9. We will definitely be booking this home again when we return to Lancaster.

House is locationed in a beautiful setting with lots of surrounding land. The inside is immaculately clean, and includes a lot of updated accents that add to the appeal. The ping pong table, fire pit, basketball court were a blast. Kitchen had everything you need. Host was wonderful, helpful, and communicated strategically at various time to ensure we were doing well. I highly recommend.

This was a wonderful place for our family to stay while visiting my mom in Elizabethtown. We enjoyed the peace and quiet - and the farms surrounding the property. The house was cozy / well appointed / met our needs perfectly!

We had family gather from various places for a relaxing and beautiful Thanksgiving. The house was very comfortable and the location was pastoral and idyllic. Close drive to interesting places in Amish country when we wanted to do something. But the house is great for just hanging out with family. Janine was great to deal with - prompt, helpful, and friendly. The house even had a Christmas tree for us. Overall, A+ experience for our family.

Spent a long weekend at Magnolia Cottage with our kids and grandkids. The house was exactly as pictured! The kitchen was well stocked, lots of room for everyone. Kids enjoyed the ping pong table and huge TV downstairs. All the beds were very comfortable. The best part was the location! The surrounding farmland was pretty and peaceful. We watched the sunrise on the wraparound porch. Close to many attractions( we visited Hershey Park, Corn Cob Acres, Lancaster Market, creamery) and numerous restaurants. We would absolutely rent out this place again!

We had the most wonderful stay at this gorgeous and serene home in Lancaster, PA. It was the perfect place for our family to gather for an overdue reunion. The home could not have been more lovely, and Janine was communicative, kind, and accommodating. We all agreed we would return in a heartbeat! We cannot recommend Magnolia Cottage enough!

We had such an amazing stay! My siblings and our family had our own full size bathrooms and bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen table was perfect for all 11 of us to sit at. The host was amazing at communicating before, during and after. Highly recommend!!

Lovely home. Restful setting. Felt safe and clean. True to pictures. Lots of space for catching up with friends. Be sure to read the checkout requests because we almost missed them. These are simple and reasonable tasks, but I almost didnā€™t see them. A friend in my group noticed, thankfully.. :)

The house was picture perfectā€¦ and perfect for 10 people. We had plenty of room to sleep, eat and bathe.. the basement was a bonus we didnā€™t realize we hadā€¦ the teenagers loved hanging out down there and watching movie. The parents loved it cause we got to get away from the kids for a while! If we play in PA next year we book again
