Set in High Bentham, you’ll have footpaths, cycling routes and countryside views all around. The village offers food stores, independent shops, a butcher, bakery and grocers, plus several pubs, cafes and takeaways, and a tourist information point. For bigger days out, the Forest of Bowland, the Lake District and the Yorkshire Three Peaks, including Ingleborough, are all within 22 miles for walking, climbing and biking. Described as ‘a Diamond of the Dales’, Bentham Golf Course offers a challenge to golfers of all abilities – tee off on a scenic Yorkshire Dales 18-hole golf course in the foothills of the Three Peaks.

Inside, an open-plan layout keeps everyone together. The living area is set at the front, drawing in daylight through sliding patio doors and framing relaxing views across the course. Settle into the comfortable seating for film nights with the TV and DVD player, and plan tomorrow’s trails. The dining space sits alongside, with plenty of room to gather for unhurried meals. The kitchen area is arranged for easy self-catering. Beyond, the sleeping accommodation comprises two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, offering a practical set-up for families or friends. There are two bathrooms to serve the group, including one with a bath and WC; the second includes a WC.

Outside, step through the sliding doors to a spacious, enclosed decked area where you can soak up peaceful, green views of the fairways and out towards the Lakeland Fells and Ingleborough. It’s a calming spot for morning coffee or to unwind after a day in the hills. Golf, walking, cycling and fishing are all close by.
