"The hotel owners/hosts, Sharon and John were very welcoming and friendly including Sharon offering to drive me to a local restaurant and later coming back to collect me. The Continental breakfast was generous, varied and more than enough to satisfy and set you up for the day! When I am next in that area, I’ll certainly book to stay at the Ashbank and shall make the recommendation for others to do so too!"

"Among the best hotels on the island. Particularly the attention to detail and the comforts laid on for guests. The food is superb, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. Our room was spacious and sumptuous. The building has been extensively renovated and refurbished recently and the owners took the opportunity to ensure the benefits were for the guests. "lovely hotel, we really enjoyed our stay at the Lamlash Bay hotel, we were in one of the top floor rooms so the slanted roof was a bit of an issue for me but I managed to navigate without too many bumps. We really enjoyed the food on offer in the restaurant and it was nice just to chill out in the bar or take in the views outside, Top quality food, location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. "

"We had a great stay at our daughters wedding all the family in one large villa but still felt part of the hotel. Cars come and take you up to the hotel whenever you wish. Or the grounds are beautiful to walk up to the hotel. All the staff we met were amazing"

"Small, friendly, helpful & clean. Room very comfortable with everything you would need for a short stay. Only comment was that there was no long mirror in the room. The one in the assessable room was in the toilet/shower room & therefore became less assessable when the toilet was in use plus became very steamed up & unable to be used. Such a small thing so not a problem & we would definitely use this hotel again. Dinner was very nice as was breakfast with plenty of choice. Loved the little bar...

"It was a good experience lodging in the facility. It would have been best if breakfast was included in the fee. It was free and self accessed property with the information provided. Despite of late arrival (passed 00:00hrs) due to long journey. I'm satisfied even with the short time spent. Thank you"
