"Was supposed to be a cabin, ended up being a suite, it was dirty upon arrival. Had to ask someone to come and sweep and mop. New bed sheets and towels and wash cloths. View was beautiful and I loved that. "

"We came north for Christmas because my daughter and her whole family live here. When you consider 5 grandchildren ranging in ages from 14 to 27 and 1 wife, 1 fiancée and 1 significant other plus my daughter and son-in-law. That’s a lot in one house! "The cabin was nice. The listing was not clear as to which cabin had an unobstructed view of the water. We were booked in the Garden cottage. It sets behind the other two cabins. You can see the water between the other two buildings. The cabin was comfortable and in a convenient location. "

"We loved our stay with this property for multiple reasons. Lake Huron is so stunning and peaceful. You're not far from town which has cute shops and restaurants. The home was super welcoming and the Mitten hosts are very kind and attentive. Huge shout out to Fundamental Cleaning for their fantastic cleanliness and customer service as well!!! "

"The only deficiency is the tv. VERY, VERY, VERY slow response time for everything- turning it on, changing stations. You could hit the button, go to the restroom and could still not have responded. "This was a great place to stay for Labor Day Weekend 2023! We stayed in Cabin #1, which was very clean and well taken care of. The owners of this property have thought of everything to make sure they provide the most comfortable stay for their quests. There is a BBQ grill with utensils, fully stocked kitchen with pots/pans/utensils etc... The beach with a private firepit was also awesome! This property is a must stay!! Thanks Al and Vicki...we hope to stay at your property again very soon!"

"The cabin is so cozy, clean, and exactly what I needed! Host is great and communicative and made check-in and checkout a breeze! Everything went seamlessly and I can't wait to come back! The state park is a nice walk, or super short drive with cool rocks and really nice trails. I had a couple of friends come out and stay a couple of nights and they absolutely adored the cabin and location as well. I. Super grateful to the host for sharing this amazing little place!"

"We enjoyed the beach and a camp fire every night. I liked the covered porches and a fire pit for every cabin. Inside the cabin we had a tv in every bedroom and living room. Outside they had plenty of chairs to sit anywhere you choose. I would defiantly go back again."

"Cute cottage and fantastic beach! There is a three ring binder in the Cottage with everything you might need to know while you stay, it was very helpful. "We had a great time here. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cabin was very clean and very comfortable. We will definitely come back. We had our little issues with the smart shower but thanks to your tech support we did fine.
