"beautiful property, beautiful stay!!"

"Great house for a large group. Lots of seating areas indoors and outdoors to accommodate kids and adults. House was very clean and kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We loved that the bedrooms were nicely separated for privacy, particularly the bunk rooms and nearby game room. Great for the late nighters in the bunch!Beautiful property and less than 10 mins to town."

"Although the description calls it an 1870 cottage it's much more comfortable and well-equipped than that might imply, especially the kitchen which has everything you could want for cooking. We especially loved the pool, hot tub, patio with a grill, and great location with easy access to town. Karen and Jeff were wonderful hosts. Just note the pool/hot tub is shared and there are some hour limitations."

"We loved Manor Lane! It had every amenity you could ask for. The house is fun and charming and there are thoughtful touches everywhere you look! We had fun watching movies in the living room, playing games in the lounge, cooking family meals in the spectacular kitchen and playing tennis in the sunshine. A perfect 10!"

"We stayed at Ray's house in August 2025 for two nights -- two adults 8 year old twins. It's a great house! Perfect size for us with very comfy beds. It was also very well-stocked with extra towels and all the toiletries you may need. Communication with Ray both before and during the stay was excellent. Highly recommend! "

"This house was perfect for us - and exactly as described in the VRBO description. It was really well-appointed, particularly the kitchen. But the little details were great - the products in the bathroom, etc. It just made for a very easy, enjoyable stay. Sabrina is also really responsive. There was a WiFi issue the night we arrived, outside of their control. She kept us posted as she heard from the provider and even gave us a small reimbursement for our inconvenience. I really found that above...

"Wonderful old house, very comfortable space for a large family gathering. The kitchen was well-equipped, and exceptionally clean. The host was communicative and responsive, although everything was so well-thought out on his part, we didn't have much need to talk to the hosts. Excellent location, less than five minutes to Great Barrington, and twenty to Tanglewood and Lenox. "

"This is the perfect place to stay to experience Western Connecticut. Centrally located for a range of wonderful little communities, and close enough to New York that our son--who seldom leaves Manhattan Island--came up to spend a few days. Great open room, so I could cook and converse with family. I've never had a better getaway."

"This was my second trip to this property in 2 years. The hosts are super easy to work with, the house is clean and while small, has everything you need. It's a great location and the towns are quaint and enjoyable. There are some great eats around too,with something for everyone."

"This house was the perfect get away house for out family! The place was clean and the kitchen well stocked! We had wonderful large family dinners and enjoyed heading into town for meals and fun too. We had the best hikes with are wonderful dog that we got to include, it was a very special week. Great location and the most peaceful and amazing views from the deck and the dock.
