"We loved this place! The view of the lake and peaceful atmosphere was very relaxing. We had lovely ducks come up to visit. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. We are only sorry we could not have stayed longer!"

"Very nice property. Worth mentioning Is that there is also a basement suite. Too bad the ones using it during our stay weren’t considerate. This was discussed with owner and tended to immediately. We appreciated that to the fullest extent and the owners help surpassed our expectations. Thank you again. There is a bit of thru traffic but other than that, no issues whatsoever. We enjoyed the property very much."

She reached out with a lovely welcome letter when we booked. 3 days before our stay she gave us the code and simple instructions needed to gain access. We had our own parking spot right at the short path to where we stayed. The place was clean. Had welcome candies! Lots of space in all of the rooms. We right away felt at home. There were a few items missing in the kitchen (a can opener and scissors), I sent a message seeing if we could get some...

"Met by the very attentive owner who is very polite. Answered texts very quickly, and checked in to make sure everything was okay and to see if I needed anything. Place was clean, bed is very comfortable, and amenities are close by with a car. Easy access to major highway close by."

"The place was very clean, it had everything we needed. The area is nice and plenty of walking trails and lakes. The host was nice and accommodating. The building could use more spund proofing as we could hear toddlers and stomping, but other than that everything was perfect. I can't wait to come back again."

"We had a great at this VRBO! The location was wonderful, with it being a short drive into downtown Halifax and having the local market and the Birch and Anchor pub so nearby. The accommodation itself was very spacious, with large bedrooms and really great common area in the kitchen and living room, which was great for spending time with our group. Additionally, having the property/balcony overlook the harbour was quite nice, especially at sunset. No complaints at all, would happily come back."
