"We came for my son’s 17th birthday week and it was perfect!!!! A few friends and some family so we needed plenty of room which it had. I cooked a lot and the kitchen was adequately stocked with kitchen ware for every big meal. The view was breathtaking and amazing. The property was quiet and relaxing with fun wildlife wandering around. I give this property a 5 star for sure. However to be 100% honest the driveway was not great for our boat. We have a nearly 26’ Centurion with a triple axle...

"Perfect place for big group of 16. We have rented this place twice now and have had a great time both stays! Has everything for a big grout of guys or a few families. Everything is just nice enough to not worry about breaking something. Pool is too cold for October though. A heated pool would make the place even better. We will probably be back a some point."

"Our second year enjoying this great property! The new tub in the master bathroom is the bomb! We brought two boats, a mule and three trucks. All was able to neatly fit around this property. Easy access to Sugarloaf Marina. House amenities work for our family. The deck is perfect for stargazing and satellite watching! Will be back next year! Thanks Adam for sharing your place at the lake with us! Great family memories created with our grandchildren! "

"Home was very clean and much nicer than the pictures show. Exceeded our expectations! The kitchen was amazingly stocked. We cook a lot and had everything we needed. Plenty of room for our party of 9 with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and great room with queen bunks for the kids. Home well maintained with amazing views from the decks. Lots of outdoor seating and tables. Large fenced yard in quiet neighborhood. Could hear the train but didn’t bother us. August so lake was down but the guys able to hike down...

"We were a small high school in need of a property for a leadership retreat and this one was a great, budget friendly option for our group of 16. All of our students had a great time and enjoyed the lake access and the game room. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The check in and check out process were simple and the property manager Francesca was very prompt and helpful in replying to all our questions. Thanks for a great stay! "

"The Peaceful Cottage was very comfortable, extremely clean, and well appointed. After driving on the I-5 all day, it was a cool respite in the heat on my journey. I really liked the little yard for my dog. I only stayed one night but it is close to Redding and Shasta lake dam which was pretty to see in the evening. There are a few restaurants in Shasta Lake town but many more options in nearby Redding. Overall, it was a very nice night's stay."

"This was just a one-night stopover on our way to a family reunion in Oregon, but it was really pleasant. Google maps took us to a neighboring apartment complex (across the backyard fence from the home) but once we found our way, everything was really nice. Also appreciate the property's dog-friendly policy! We used the BBQ, had a nice dinner, slept well (thanks to the AC, which worked well and quickly), and were on our way. Thanks again!"

"Cama maravilhosa! Grande, espaçosa, confortável e alta! Quarto muito espaçoso, e com muitas tomadas. Ficamos ao todo 6 dias no hotel, o café da manhã no primeiro dia foi incrível e a cada dia que passava tinha menos itens no café da manhã. No ultimo graças a deus voltaram com os ovos. Mas em um dos dias perguntamos até se viria mais alguma coisa no café da manhã e o homem bem secamente disse: não, terá só isso mesmo. Serviço de quarto era preciso solicitar antes já que não era feito diariamente, o que até então ok, para alguns hoteis é assim. Porém no terceiro dia quando finalmente solicitamos que arrumassem o quarto disseram que não iriam conseguir, mas iriam tentar nos encaixar para a limpeza. No TERCEIRO dia de hospedagem sem limpeza. No final das contas acabaram arrumando no sábado, antes de irmos embora no domingo. Staff da recepção foi sempre gentil com a gente, exceto com o lance da limpeza do quarto. O hotel de maneira geral parece que não se importam mais com o cuidado dele em si.. um pouco de desleixo com hotel da década de 80 que um dia foi muito bom."
