"We enjoyed the house, it was roomy and pretty clean. I would suggest that housekeeping uses unscented soaps and dryer sheets when washing sheets & towels. I am highly sensitive to scents and had a hard time however I brought my own sheets and even though I used my own sheets the scent was still there probably from the mattress cover. "We enjoyed our stay at the Ranger House. The lake was beautiful and fishing was decent. It’s an 8 min walk to the lake so we drove down for fishing. We had fun learning about the property’s previous owner Harry Bennett and looking for the previous Boy Scout buildings. Steve was easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend this rental! "

"Not luxurious, but everything was pretty clean and comfortable. The one bedroom had an open window with no screen and so there were a bunch of bugs the first night until we figured out where they were coming from. We had to use a bug zapper. "Our family had a great time staying on Rose Lake! The house was clean and perfect for our stay. "
