"This is a Hotel from the early 20th century. It has wonderful character. It doesn't have AC but does not really need it due to being up in the mountains at about 3500 ft. a room fan and open window was more than adequate. We had small issue with a smoke detector battery getting low and the detector started chirping at 4 in the moring. They don't have over night staff so it was fixed in the morning while we were out and fixed by noon. They do have a weekend breakfast that was very good. ...

"When we arrived our room smelled like cat urine. Requested a different room. The other room smelled better but still had the faint smell of mildew and cat urine. Bed was clean. Old fingernail clippings and dirt were found near the bed."

"The lodge was a bit older and rustic but the owners are very nice and aim to make you comfortable. Easy check in and great breakfast!"

"Such a peaceful haven in the mountains! The staff are really nice and the rooms are nice too. Great place to have as a base camp for visiting nearby waterfalls."
