"Bear Cottage is our Happy Place. From the rustic cottage, to the beautiful lake, the animals, fowl, reptiles to the everything nature it is perfect on all levels. A it if futhings to do in the area including hiking, swimming at other lakes ( we do lake chasing), waterfall casing ( so any to see), horseback riding at theGrassyCreek ranch, farmers markets, flea markets……. Hosts are amazing!"

"Mick, the host, was asking if there was anything he could get us to make our stay better. But there’s already boats and hammocks and campfires and a beautiful lake and a nice house with everything you need in a kitchen. I couldn’t find think of anything to ask for. It’s wonderful. "

"Just a heads up. When you flush the toilet the shower water gers ice cold lol. Some sunblocking curtains in the bedroom downstairs would be awesome. The bed downstairs could use a quality egg crate. Otherwise it was great. "

"We had a great week at the cabin. Stayed with my wife, daughter, son-in-law, our two young granddaughters, and our dog. The cabin was great and had a perfect feeling of a traditional cabin with all the modern amenities . Property was nicely secluded and the lake was quiet most of the time. We enjoyed the SUP’s they had there as well as the kayaks and canoe. Fishing off the pier was great and we (our grand daughters) caught tons of pan fish. "

"All kind of birds singing. Very peaceful. The owner was kind enough to spray for mosquitoes which helped slot. Tree branches, brush & logs in water made kayak/ rowboat access very difficult."

The large kitchen was perfect for our family of 12, making meal preparations enjoyable for everyone. The basement playroom was a great space to break up our group and keep the kids entertained. The beds were comfortable, and the bedroom layouts and arrangements suited our group perfectly.We especially loved the dock, which allowed us to do a lot of fishing, and the firepit, grill, and gas...

"The house had everything we needed. We have two boys (6 & 8) and they loved having the downstairs as their own space, provided for some great bonding. The Western facing view allowed for some awesome sunsets and very enjoyable post dinner campfires. St. Germain is a nice town with a few good restaurants. We headed into both Minocqua and Eagle River for various activities. Bike trail picks up just down the road.Highly recommend this listing."

There was plenty of space to spread out, the beds, bathrooms and kitchen areas were all very clean and appreciated. The location was perfect for us as it was close to all the activities we needed to attend. Thank you again for the opportunity to stay here and I look forward to see you next time. "We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Our family spent a lot of time down on the dock fishing and spending time on our paddleboat. The kids loved the choices of places to sleep. They had everything we could possibly want. So convenient and it was beautiful inside. The only con was that the upstairs was warm, even with the air on. We will definitely stay there again."

"Cute place, rustic. 2 double beds so make sure you like who you share with :) Location is amazing, 25 feet to the private dock and lake. Had everything we needed for 5 days. No a/c but has ceiling fans. A free public boat launch is 1/4 mile down the road making it easy in and out."

"Property is amazing and has everything you could need. There’s 3 kayaks and a row boat for you to use, we used the boat the most and it was perfect for what we wanted to fish for. Location wise you’re close to everything including downtown minocqua, st Germain, and lac du flambeau if you want to check out small northwoods towns. Overall an amazing stay "
