Quiet place to relax
We were in Lake Placid to watch our kids ski at Mt VanHovenberg. Spent lots of time at that action-packed venue and were so happy to come back to the quiet condo. Three spacious bedrooms were enough for all adults to find private space of their own. Super nice to have laundry facilities available. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. Might recommend updating TV's to have streaming capabilities, but we were able to hook up my laptop to watch a few movies in the living room. Overall a great stay with good communication from the property manager who responded promptly to questions.

Christmas in Lake Placid
Visited Lake Placid to ski, snowshoe and hike. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best but the ease of access to the village helped to save the day and allowed us to walk to Main Street and explore the shops and restaurants. I’d love to come back to experience a snowier time with better outdoor options and won't hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect location
Great stay, exactly as advertised. Just a short walk into town/Main Street and an even shorter drive. Has all the comforts of home. Half bath has been updated since photos were taken. Would definitely return!

Quiet neighborhood, close to town
Nice location and layout for our group, excellent communication with the property manager, window A/C units in both upstairs bedrooms and the living room were great help for the one hot day, downstairs stayed cool and comfortable throughout.

Lovely property, great location
Unit #4 is exactly as advertised. It was well furnished with a great kitchen. Views of the mountains from the decks was a plus. Beds were comfortable. We had a light bulb in need of replacement. We reported it to Rudy via text, and it was replaced early the next morning. Very well managed property. Highly recommend it.

Nice place!
The owners/rental manager were very accommodating. The decor reminds me of a themed bed and breakfast - outdoorsy and a reminder that you're in the Adirondacks. The powder room has been updated since the photos of the listing were taken and looks great. The townhouse was roomy and met our needs. If we find ourselves in Lake Placid again, we would try to book here again.

Weekend at Lake Placid
Nice place, good location within walking distance to main streets. We were in town for the Ski Jumping World Cup. Enjoyed the place. Would definitely stay again.

Ski weekend
Great location. Town is walkable from the unit and it is a nice community with pine trees. We were in town to ski at Whiteface. By coincidence the University Games were in town, so we took in figure skating, Super G and ski jumping as well. A great long weekend in Lake Placid!

Enjoyable family trip
Myself and my fiancé flew in from California Friday and met our parents at the condo for a long weekend. We loved the decorations, found the beds comfortable, the condo heated up nicely and was nice to come back to during the cooler evenings. Parking was easy and accommodating to our group. We look forward to returning and would definitely stay here again.

Winter Lake Placid Get Away!
This is the second time we have stayed at the condo and it didn't disappoint! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! More than enough for my 2 teens and close to EVERYTHING....Whiteface, Mount Van Hovenberg, town of Lake Placid. Hosts are extremely reliable, check in was super easy as was check out. Can't wait to get back there!

This property will pressure you to sign a lease agreement they will persist, although it is not legally required. There was only spices, do not expect any cooking oils,condements etc, as is typical in many rentals. Most ALL the dishes were put away dirty, this was gross! Master bed was very comfortable. Great location

We thank Guy for his kind and helpful comments and greatly appreciate his staying with us then! As for the lease, as the property manager, I am a licensed NY state real estate broker and always like to have a lease in place, though it is not technically or legally required, but also recommended by VRBO. We supply some spices and other kitchen items but not all you may need, as everyone enjoys different ones. As for the dishes, he had mentioned that to me and I did call and speak with our housekeeper about it. We hope it is a one time occurrence and will watch to make sure it does not happen again. We try very hard to make Pinehill 4 a great place to stay and will use Guy's comment and feedback in continuing to do that - Rudy...

Great stay, no issues!
The condo was clean, well equiped, and very conveniently located. Close enough you could walk to down town if you wanted but just far enough you may want to drive. The condo complex was quiet, clean, safe, and friendly. Their property manager, Rudy, gave a list of clear instructions which was great to avoid any guess work. Check in and out were seamless and contact free. We didn't have many questions but Rudy responded to every email in minutes. Thanks for letting us stay in your home!

Perfection
We were a multigenerational family. The rental gave plenty of comfort and privacy because of the excellent and efficient floor plan. My son’s family had their own full bath and two bedrooms upstairs. The children’s room had a bunk bed and a full bed for the 3 children, ages 3-13. The mid level had a fully equipped turn-key kitchen, eating area Nd family room. We could walk to town, the playground and beach. We enjoyed 4 nights here . Rudy was easily reached via text, answering all questions promptly.

Well worn property in need of maintenance.
Condo is in need of attention. Upstairs shower & Lower level sinks drain very slow; dirty wash cloth on floor of lower bedroom; broken spindle on lower level bed; no bar soap in bath; BBQ does not work; Cobwebs in bathroom; broken window blinds in upstairs rooms; towels well worn; handle on refer taped together; carpet throughout in need of cleaning and a font porch in need of paint. Great location though!

I have to say, we were stunned and shocked to read this review! While John points out some items that needed our attention, and we greatly appreciate that feedback, giving his stay a 2 is quite harsh. All of those items are easy to address and have been, we just wish he worked with us on them instead of pointing them out in a public review. If you are reading this, please know that the 8 reviews before and the one after are all 5's. Our overall VRBO score is 4.85 over 17 reviews and also 4.83 over 18 review on AirBNB. Our past guests have been very happy with Pinehill 4 and I'm sure out future ones will be too - Rudy (rental manager)!

Great place for family get together
Three bedrooms gave everyone their space. Easy walking distance to down town and short drive to Adirondack Loj trailhead. Nice size kitchen to eat at home. Everything as described.

Great Getaway!
This was a wonderful place for a girl's weekend. The five of us were comfortable and really impressed with the condo. Lake Placid has plenty of fun entertainment opportunities!

Nice ski condo
The condo was comfortable and well equipped, and close to Whiteface. The property manager was easy to reach and helpful. One comment - you will receive a lease agreement from the property manager, even though you are renting through VRBO. We chose not to sign the lease, which turned out not to be an issue.

Comfortable stay in a great location!
This condo was perfect for a weekend getaway with the family. There is a door to the first level which is helpful when you have a toddler. Just had to pack a gate for the stairs that went up to the third level. Everything was clean, plenty of kitchenware, cozy little living room. Highly recommend.
