Lake Placid Club Boat House Residences 4 Bedroom

The Lake Placid Club Boat House Residences consists of 3 luxury vacation rentals located directly on Mirror Lake across from Main Street, Lake Placid. These newly renovated residences were a popular restaurant for years prior to this conversion and opened as Vacation Rentals July 20, 2020.



Lake Placid Club Boat House Residences 4 has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. This residence boasts an enormous deck overlooking Mirror Lake and the Lake Placid Club beach, one of the best places to experience stunning Adirondack sunsets. The large modern kitchen, great room and dining area overhang the lake with spectacular lake and mountain views. The kitchen is finished with granite counters and stainless steel appliances.



This residence consists of 3 king bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom. Two of the king bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. The other 2 bedrooms share a bath.  A/C in bedrooms only.



One can combine the Lake Placid Club Boat House Residences 4 with Residences 3 through an adjacent door, creating a 7 bedroom luxury rental. Or rent the entire building Residences 3, 4 and 5 for a total of 12 bedrooms!



The Lake Placid Club Boat House Residences share a beautiful beach with guests of the Lake Placid Club Grandview Hotel. The beach is available the last weekend in June through Labor Day weekend Sunday 10:30am-6:30pm. The rest of the time the private beach is for the sole use of the Lake Placid Club Boat House Residences, however the kayaks and chaise lounges are not available when the beach is closed.



The Historic Lake Placid Club boasts 45 holes of Championship Golf, extensive mountain biking and cross-country skiing trail systems.



The Lake Placid Club Boat House Residences are operated by the Lake Placid Club Grandview Hotel and guests may enjoy our indoor pool and hot tub, as well as fitness facilities, located ½ mile from the Boat House.

While we provide an initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and trash bags to get you through the first 24 hours, we recommend you bring the following: toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, napkins, dishwashing liquid, laundry soap, coffee and coffee filters, and anything else you may need for the perfect vacation.

CHECK IN IS 4:00PM and CHECK OUT IS 10:00AM. We will contact you on the day of arrival with the door code as soon as the rental is ready.

The host was very nice and easy to contact with a prompt answer to any questions. The apartment was very nice & clean. The view was fantastic with which we saw from our great room Kitchen bedrooms that we felt like we were outside but inside in the warmth. It’s easy access to the town. You can even walk there and leave your car. You get access to the pool and gym if you want at the Crown Plaza ehile you get yourself a drink at tge bar lol I have a recommend staying at the boathouse. This is my second time there it has three apartments and I’ve tried out too already lol I guess I’ll just have to go back and try the third one.
I opened up the door and this is what I saw. How amazing is that
Of view from my living room, looking at the frozen snow capped mirror Lake. Just loved watching all the activity going on from our window.

Beautiful view.

Usually rent houses for the ECAC hockey tournament. First time renting a condo/apt and it worked out great. Quiet and convenient location, short walk to the arena and town. Unit itself was open, spacious, and bright. Parking was a breeze and the unit's porch was huge. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. The location was beautiful and convenient. Some welcoming touches, like local recommendations would have been nice. The guide that was provided only listed what not to do at the property. Just something for management to consider.

Excellent views and location

We had 6 staying in Boathouse Unit 4 and it was perfect for us. The views across Mirror Lake were amazing and the location is very quick to downtown Lake Placid (10 min walk) and Whiteface Ski Area (15 min drive).

The title says it all. The property has everything you would need for an extended stay and it's location on Mirror Lake is not only private, it also comes with breathtaking views. We were very happy with our stay and look forward to coming back.

Amazing Lake Front residence on Lake Mirror

Lovely residence with spectacular Lake Mirror views and amenities! It was amazing to watch the clouds and weather changes and all the lake swimmers and boats from your living room. Kitchen was fully equipped, kayaks and beach available was really nice down the steps. It was a delightful walk to the town restaurants and shops. Plus the temperature was a delight at 72 compared to our 90 temperature in DC! Visiting the Ski jump is a must! Would highly recommend this lovely residence!

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The location is amazing, with stunning views of the lake from every room. The semi private beach (shared with Crowne Plaza guests) next door is really convenient. Highly recommended!

Our week at Lake Placid held inclement weather so we stayed in a lot and played cards… the view we had through those huge windows gave us a beautiful view the whole time. This boathouse was GREAT!!

Wonderful Rental

This is a wonderful property and after staying at numerous rentals around Mirror Lake, this had a great combination of features / amenities and proximity to the shops and restaurants in the village. It was quiet and the views throughout were spectacular. Bonus points for the private beach/dock in order to launch the kayaks we brought. Highly recommended!

Beautiful spot

The property is very well located and our children had a wonderful time at the Crown Plaza Beach which was right next door. We could watch the kids swim from our deck and kayak and paddle board just by running downstairs. The beds were very comfortable, three king sized beds was a treat! There were problems with the apartment, broken washing machine, no screens, ice machine in fridge not working. The crown plaza staff was very responsive to our complaints and fixed these problems quickly. Complaints: The floors were pretty dirty when we got there, I vacuumed which helped, but they needed a good washing as constant tracking of sand into the apartment leaves behind an odor. The apartment needs some sunshades at least in the living room. The setting sun comes directly into the windows making that room uninhabitable for a couple of hours (in the summer, perhaps not in winter). Overall this was a great place , provided a wonderful time for our grandchildren and all of us.

Noise Curfew

We stayed at this property, with 6 women (ages 43-71), for a 60th birthday wknd. The property is beautiful, well decorated, beds comfortable, booking/communication/check in easy. However, the kitchen is minimally equipped, as are the paper products, dish/bath soaps. We tried using Instacart, for groceries, from Hannovers & it never got delivered! The advertised pool (located across the lake at the Crown Plaza) was a disaster, as you have to share the indoor pool/hot tub with hotel guests. We went over to use the hot tub & it was spilling over with people, as was the pool. It looked like a scene from Titantic, with people floudering around in the water, on top of each other. Additionally, there is only 1 tv on the property, which is in family room. Finally, our biggest complaint is the noise. The walls are paper thin, both inside the suite & the ones connecting to the other suites. Unfortunate for us, as the people next door, were constantly complaining about the noise, calling the property manager & banging on our shared wall. While we were not overly loud, it WAS a holiday wknd & NOONE goes to Lake Placid OR PAYS, as much as we did, to go & have to be quiet by 11p. Unbeknownst to us, in the house guide & undisclosed prior, there was a blurp about being quiet after 9p. This caused a great deal of issues with our group, specifically in curtailing a very special celebration. I hated to write this, but given that my family HAS a property on VRBO (similarly priced) in FL, ON THE BEACH, AND knowing what we were advised to provide, this property fell a little short. Bottom line, if you plan to stay in & enjoy the beautiful lake, plan to be quiet, bring any cooking equip you definitely need, as well as extra paper products, dish soaps & IF someone wants to watch TV , hope they like the same TV channel as everyone in the group.
