"In Huntsville area to visit with grandchildren. Booked this location for the close proximity to Huntsville, for the lake, water activities (kayaks, paddle boards) and pet friendly. Could not have asked for a better location !! The Windermere is a bit rustic, but well appointed and we loved it. Can’t wait to visit again !!! Also, the cleaning staff, especially Miss Lady, were wonderful - Thank you !"

"We only stayed for one night with 6 people, but would have loved to stay longer to really enjoy the place. It was so spacious and had everything we needed. The rooms were incredibly spacious. The sauna was a nice highlight, safe and easy to use. The only downside was that there was construction going on on that street since it's a newly developed area, so there was some noise and roads half blocked from time to time, but honestly didn't affect our stay that much. Beautiful home with everything...
