KICK BACK CABIN ~ MOUNTAIN VIEWS ~ FAMILY-FRIENDLY ~ PET-FRIENDLY ~ GATED COMMUNITY VERY QUIET

Kick Back Cabin is a lovely three-bedroom, 2-bath log cabin with Big, Beautiful Mountain Views. It’s centrally located just 2 miles from lakefront dining at Larkin’s on the Lake, 5.4 miles to the Beach at Lake Lure, and 6 miles to Chimney Rock State Park. Kickback Cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access for day trips to Asheville or Hendersonville. A large grocery store, restaurants, and a medical center are only 2 miles away. This destination is sure to spark treasured family memories for years to come.

The main floor features a great room with a wall of windows that opens to the kitchen. Step outside onto the beautiful wrap-around deck to enjoy the backyard mountain views and roast marshmallows over the stone fire pit, or relax in one of the rockers with a good book. The main level also has two bedrooms with a full bath between them in the hall and a pull-out sofa in the living room.

The upper level has a loft bedroom, spacious full bath, rocking chair, and desk space with a great view for relaxing, reading, or having morning coffee.

Pack your clothes, pick up some groceries (an Ingles Market is just minutes away), and then sit back, relax, and enjoy all Lake Lure/Chimney Rock, Riverbend, and Kick Back Cabin have to offer. The cabin was in a really nice setting and the community felt very safe. It was pet-friendly as I had my beagle with me. Everything was neat and clean and had all the amenities that were listed. Carolina Properties was great to work with and were very easy to communicate with.

Amazing cabin and host!

My family and I had such an amazing time here. The cabin interior was cozy, tastefully decorated and clean (sheets, towels etc… smelled wonderful.). The communication from the host was top tier from start to finish. All instructions were wonderfully laid out. We had zero hitches during our stay and can’t wait to come back for another stay.

Wonderful Thanksgiving experience

Wonderful cabin with all the amenities you need for a mountain getaway. Our Thanksgiving was perfect. Pleasant surprise having a Christmas tree and decorations making it even more festive. Cabin is situated with beautiful views and an easily accessible driveway.

Lovely Cabin

The view was wonderful and we loved the front porch. We really enjoyed the proximity to Lake Lure. So happy my pets were able to come with us. Very nice that they provided a few streaming networks so we had plenty of shows/movies to choose from at night.

Very pretty and peaceful place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is quiet with beautiful views. Everything was cleaned well and the instructions provided were helpful and easy to follow. The only hiccup we had was on the last day when we went to take out the trash. The trash that was already in the bin had been ripped open and we had to re-bag it. The lid had been closed the entire time. The trash can wasn’t in a holder and there wasn’t anything to fasten the lid that we noticed. It may have completely been our mistake, but just a heads up for future renters!

peaceful and nice

The house was very nice, the bedrooms and downstairs bathroom are very small but adequate. The Kitchen was very nice and roomy. The living area has a very nice gas fireplace that really took the chill off! Views of the mountains are beautiful but obscured by large power line towers that don't show in the pictures. Overall a very nice little cabin. Be sure the management company sends the gate access code with directions. Arrived at the gated entrance and had to text for the code the get in the gate.

Awesome view and very cozy

What a great experience! We are building a cabin/ house in the area and wanted to get a feel for a like floor plan. Great property and the view is outstanding. No TVs in bedrooms, but we were so relaxed we didn’t need them. This is a great stay for 4 people in private rooms. Can sleep 6-8 comfortably in loft and sofa sleeper.

Very Convenient, Great view

We had a wonderful time at Kick Back Cabin. Rocking on the porch, the sunrise was pink mountains!, the awesome fire pit. The list goes on and on. The bedrooms are tight so just a heads up but we spent our time outdoors! For this coastal family it was perfect.

Awesome Views and Private

The cabin was beautiful and in a great location. There were neighbors, but not too close. It was far enough in the country for great views, but close enough to Lake Lure to make access to food and activities easy. Good rental for relaxing and it's stocked with anything you could need.

Good Location and Pleasant Stay

Girls Trip

Great Get Away

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Peaks. There are beautiful views of the mountains. It is a quiet community that is close to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. We enjoyed white water rafting, zip lining and a boat tour of Lake Lure.

Truly Great Place (and little to no WIFI)

This is an awesome place: clean, wonderfully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, fabulous porch to watch the sunset, a fire pit to toast marshmallows and we couldn't have enjoyed how close the property to Lake Lure was! Just be prepared to have little to no WIFI. Thank you so much for a great July 4 weekend.
