Dreamcatcher~ Pet Friendly~ Mirror Lake~Waterfall~LAKE LURE IS OPEN

It is with great pleasure we welcome you to 'Dreamcatcher'! Peacefully tucked in lush woods whose porch overlooks a meandering stream running right down its side. A short, magical moss-covered path leads to a creekside fire-pit (firewood available at the grocery), and a small waterfall. Kids (and adults) can easily play in the shallow creek (just be mindful of spiders and snakes). Dreamcatcher is within a gated community called Riverbend at Lake Lure. Across the main road (5mins), use your gate pass to access the other half of the community which has additional amenities. The beach at Mirror Lake (Hickory Nut Lake) is beautiful with peaceful, mountain views, great for swimming and playing in clean, white sand - make sure to check out a sunset at this spot. Just a walk across the parking lot is the "Nature Walk" which leads to a waterfall. You could spend a day here exploring the river - fishing, kayaking, tubing or simply enjoying quiet time near the water. From the cabin -- Ingles Supermarket (10mins), Canopy Ridge Farm Ziplining (5mins), town of Chimney Rock (~20mins). Dreamcatcher is a non-smoking, dog friendly cabin that sleeps ten very comfortably with two kings, one queen, and 4 twin beds. Cozy enough for two, but its thoughtful layout makes it easy for large groups. You can choose to stay here all day to relax and play, or plan your day to any one of the many activities Lake Lure and the surrounding area has to offer.

It is always our sincere hope that Dreamcatcher not just meet, but even exceed our guest's expectations. For that reason we gave great thought when breathing life into our already lovely log home. Open beam construction and decorated with special detail featuring three large bedrooms, three large full bathrooms (one on each floor), basement playroom with air hockey and foosball table, two televisions with streaming/DVD players, loft with additional gathering area, family room with wood burning fireplace and fully stocked kitchen. A mud room with washer/dryer and utility sink offers additional access to the three sided deck with grill. In the basement you will even find rubber boots in various sizes lined up at the back door just begging to be thrown on for an adventure outside. Plenty of fun to be had by all!
Lake Lure is gorgeous with rock faces to the water and boasts a fun beach/water park with many lifeguards on duty in season. Play golf at one of the three courses nearby, play tennis or basketball near the lake, or rent a boat and enjoy skiing, tubing or knee boarding while learning new techniques from your personal certified instructor. Lovely cruises are a wonderful way to view Lake Lure's beauty and leave every hour at the beach's marina. Nearby Chimney Rock is a fun little town offering unique shops, putt putt by the river, restaurants and hiking at Chimney Rock is spectacular! Not far is Asheville where, among other things, you might tour Biltmore Estates and Winery. The beauty of having your space here is the mountains offer something for everyone!

This is a Pet-Friendly home - up to two dogs are allowed (weight and breed restrictions may apply - please inquire prior to booking). Sorry, no cats, birds, other household pets or exotic animals are allowed. The pet fee is $100 plus tax.

In addition to the nightly rate, booking fee, cleaning fee, and taxes, a $59 Accidental Damage Waiver which covers up to $1500 in accidental damage during a guest stay. Any damage in excess of $1500 will be the guest's responsibility. Negligent or purposeful damage will be the responsibility of the guests and is not covered by accidental damage Insurance.

The roads in the Riverbend community are packed gravel. 4WD is not necessary, but recommended if guests don't feel comfortable navigating mountain roads.
