"From my first message, Shawn was very responsive. Check in was a breeze. Directions were perfect and everyone including neighbors were all friendly. Great location and so many things to do at Rumbling Bald Resort. The highlight was the bears we saw. Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are still rebuilding from the devastation of Hurricane Helene last year, so I hope more people will visit. "This house is perfect for a week in the mountains! The only issue we encountered was an accidental water shut off by the city, but the hosts worked with us to navigate the issue and it was corrected fairly quickly! We look forward to booking this house again!"

"I echo other reviews in that the home was beautiful and comfortably accommodated our whole crew of 11. While the lake is drained, we still had a wonderful time and the views are gorgeous. It is not too far from Ingles, to fully stock the fridge and cook at home with all the lovely kitchen amenities available. The resort options were fun (slight note that putt putt is not included) but the pools and fitness centers were great additions. Definitely recommend! "

"Overall great stay! Would stay again. The biggest thing to take into account is the steepness of the road and driveway getting to the house. This would be the only con in my opinion however this is the mountains and it is expected.
