Charming beach house on Lake Leelanau. Includes kayaks and a fireplace.

  • Enjoy spending time at this charming two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage on Lake Leelanau. This cozy lake house offers comfortable lodging for up to four guests. The living room has plenty of seating overlooking the beautiful lake views. There is wall-unit air conditioning and a wood-burning fireplace.

    No more than four guests are allowed; however, there is a bunkhouse with one twin bed and a twin bunk bed if guests want to spread out. The bunkhouse does not have a kitchen or bathroom.

    Enjoy the roomy yard. Walk out the door to a deck with comfortable outdoor seating and enjoy beautiful sunsets and fall color views. The huge yard is perfect for outdoor games. 100' of shoreline includes a dock and boat hoist that has a 3000 lb. limit. Three kayaks are included. There is a gas grill and a fire pit.

    This cottage is just minutes from the Village of Lake Leelanau. In the area are groceries, wineries, a distillery, antique shops, and restaurants. There is a boat launch just a couple of miles from the house. Suttons Bay and Leland are about 10 minutes away.

    Your well-mannered dog is welcome. One dog only. Please clean up after your pet.

    GENERAL: iron & ironing board, towels & linens, toilet paper, bar soap, wall unit A/C & heating. No washer/dryer

    MISC: living space on one level

    PARKING: space for up to 3 vehicles

Absolutely Beautiful!

This Beautiful Beach House was perfect.Amazing sunsets, lake view, quiet , and so peaceful. My daughter and I had an incredible time. Lake house is small but adorable! And close to shopping area. Definitely worth it and we will be back!

Lake Leelanau

The lake is gorgeous can see right into the water. We used the kayaks - water was very placid and peaceful. Quiet relaxing and great house. I cried when we had to leave. Visited nearby Suttons Bay and Fishtown (Leland) Absolutely loved it. Want to go again!!!!!

Absolutely beautiful!! This place had charm and character. It was spotless. We enjoyed our time by the fire and outside in the sun. Very spacious lot. Comfortable beds and our pups loved it.

Leelanau Blue is charming as described, the view of the lake and sunsets were beautiful. My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing week.The only complaint we had was the dog and cat hair that was on the pillows and floors.

Extremely well done home. Excellent beds, no puffy eyes from a poor mattress. Comfortable and very aesthetically pleasing. Excellent design choices. We’d stay there again if we were in the area.

Great place!

We loved staying at this little cottage. They did a great job on the remodel. Cute and cozy. Great view. All the furniture was very comfy. I would recommend bringing water shoes lake bottom more of a sand/clay mixture. Firepit was very nice. We had a great time.

Leelanau Blue Cottage

Modern day updates to cottage are very nicely finished. Secluded & quiet location, 1/4 mile off main road. Easy/quick access to Suttons Bay, Traverse City, Leland/Fish town & many winery locations. Great dock for swimming in lake. Highly recommended.

The cleaning crew needs to vacuum the couch and the brown ottoman in front of the couch, especially if the previous renters had a dog that sheds. Wife also spotted a few cobwebs on the ceiling. What a wonderful location! We go to Lake Leelanau every year in October, and this was our first time at this property. It has recently been updated and everything is first rate. The kitchen and living areas are comfortable and we’ll appointed. The bedroom and bed in the master bedroom is comfortable and has a great view of the lake. And the bathroom, with its heated floor and roomy shower is great. The location is great…close to Lake Leelanau and Sutton’s Bay.
