"RV was really cute and the property manager was very friendly. Everything was clean and working which is a huge plus considering it was so affordable. Only things I missed was things like hand soap, shampoo, ect. The bed was pretty hard but not the worst I've been on. No TV so if you're wanting to watch something you'll have to bring your own. We didn't have time for TV so it wasn't an issue. Would definitely stay again "

"Motel was exactly as stated...amazing view of the lake, clean, tiday & efficient. Arrived & spoke to Sarah via the office door camera. My door was opened & bingo am here. Can't understand negative reviews: its an oasis on the road, clean comfy bed, shower spot on....oh & extra coffee. Late check out, not a prob. Its a great little place with outdooe seating & tables. "

"-Very unsafe feeling when you first arrive, you will pass by neighboring properties with lots of junk piles in the yards...think movie "Wrong turn" -Surroundings are very unmaintained with lots of tall dry brush weeds -There were snakes near the covered patio, we couldnt even use the area which happened to be the highlight of why we chose this house"

"I booked this property last minute and for a quick mini getaway with my family. The plan was to visit Sequoia National Forest which was a quick 45 min drive from the hotel. Initially we wanted to go to Sequoia National Park, but learned that dogs are not allowed on any trails. The property is across the kern river and surrounded by breathtaking mountains. "This cottage is a short walk from the town square. The property has grills and a hot tub. There are areas to hang out both indoors and out. The property is fun to explore. Our infant slept soundly in the bedroom while we played cards outside or sat in the hot tub. The hot tub is within range for our video baby monitor. Some board games would be a nice addition to this space. This is a nice spot to relax and would be a great space for gatherings - particularly if you could snag other spots on...

"Had a great stay for a solo fly fishing trip on the Kern River. The property was just I expected based on photos and descriptions. Host communication was clear and helpful. Enjoyed the wood stove and limitless firewood each evening. Would definitely stay here again."

"We had such a great time during our stay at this property! Our group consisted of three families coming together with kids of multiple ages. Everyone slept comfortably and there were plenty of beds for all! The kids enjoyed running around the grounds. They loved looking at the horses in the morning, playing on the zip line and taking dips in the hot tub in the evenings! This place is perfectly located within the town of Kernville. Thank you again for all of the fun!"

"It seems in the past it might used to the be good, looking at the infra. We arrived and there was no one at the check in - it was closed. Thee was a nunber to be called, but no one answered. Finally, I found an on-site worker who knew someone ( not the person at the sign ) that could help me. A very nice old lady who did hsr best but could barely find the key. Finally, having found the key, we went to the room. Besides the bed, that was nice, everything else was serioulsy dirty, I mean, DIRTY....

"Perfect location for a quiet retreat in the mountains. The views are spectacular, as you see mountains and the Kern river from pool balconies. We got to see mountains on our balcony. Rooms are quiet and balconies are private. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfy. Lots of parking, and I felt extremely safe. Lots of toiletries, teas, coffee, and water. Easy check in and check out. Definitely would stay again!"
