The room we had was very small for 4 people however we were right by a common room with a TV, comfortable chairs, and vending machines where we could go when our room felt too small. "Great location. My dog and I stayed for 2 nights so we could hike Lions head trail. The front lobby is under a much needed renovation. Hopefully they will get this finished. A nice coffee bar would be a bonus. My room was clean and partly renovated. The beds were comfy. Motel was quiet, we felt safe. A few things like a trash can in the room, clean windows, inside door lock, art work would add to the stay."

"Staff was friendly. But this is simply an old, run down facilty that needs a lot of work. Rooms had the bare bones amenities. It appears to be more of a long term stay type of place. I think many of the guest lived there. Walls are very thin, and you could hear all the conversations (though there was lots of yelling) through the walls and doors. The smell in the room was STRONG. Powerful scent from some type of disinfectantor deodroizong spray i believe. Had to open all windows...

"This hotel was booked by my elderly mother in error (we were in Tobermory, Scotland and booked in Tobermory, Canada). We were stranded on an island with limited electricity during a storm and needed a place to sleep that same night. Within 30 minutes we noticed the mistake and notified the hotel. After several hours of calls and emails we were told that a 7 day cancellation policy applies and that we would lose all of the money. These are the kind of people who run the hotel, take advantage of...

"Clean room, very dated lodging and property."

"We were charged an additional $5 at check in for amenities. Not a big deal but…there was no breakfast food at 9:40am and the gal was mopping the breakfast area closing it up and was rude when I asked if more food would be brought out. If you are going to start to charge additional for your amenities, at least have them available. Not cool Holiday Inn. Not cool. "
