Lakefront Property Private 37 Ft Dock Fire Pit Steps To Bars/Rest. WIFI BBQ

Located in the heart of Lake Harmony, we have spared no expense when it comes to your vacation! With over 4000 square feet of living space, there is plenty of room for large groups and multiple families!
As you enter, the main floor has 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. An open living room, dining room, and kitchen make for great gatherings and conversation! Just beyond the kitchen, you can make your way out to the 400-square-foot deck which has full unobstructed views of the lake. There you can sit out on a lounge chair and take in the fresh air or relax by reading a book! One flight up there are an additional two master bedrooms with private baths and a loft area for kids which has sleeping for up to 6!
The game room which consists of a brand new American-made pool table, a poker table, a shuffleboard table, and a built-in bar with a 50" TV for all your viewing needs! The lower level also consists of two more bedrooms and a full bath!
As you make your way past the bedrooms, you will be welcomed by a 400-square-foot home theater room that seats 9 comfortably in reclining chairs! Kick back and watch your favorite movie on a 75" big screen TV or your favorite sports team!
From the lower level, you can walk out to the second deck which gives you access to the lake. Whether you choose to relax in the outdoor jacuzzi(which is emptied and refilled after every stay) or dip your toes in the water or roast marshmallows by the fire pit, there is no shortage of activities inside or outside the cabin! Bring your boat, or jet skis and park them on your own private dock. Enjoy a cocktail along the water or walk 2 doors down to Nick's Lake House where you can dine alfresco! There are canoes and paddles available between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
(Paddles and Life Jackets Included)! We do supply the following items: Towels, Trash bags (2), Toilet Paper (2) per bathroom, and Paper Towels (2).

Owner accepts pets on an individual basis with an extra pet fee. The marina key is available with a deposit. Also, there is a one time permit fee of $500 to use your own
vessel on the lake. Permits can be purchased at the township before check in. This home is conveniently located 1/2 mile from Big Boulder Ski Area and in walking distance to local restaurants and nightclubs. This beautifully decorated waterfront cottage is minutes from Split Rock Indoor Water Park, The Galleria and Golf Course. Tenants have use of all Split Rock amenities that are open to the public for a fee collected by Split Rock. The lakefront property is approximately 20 minutes from Mohegan Sun or Mount Airy Casinos. It is also close to Hickory Run State Park and Sand Springs free beach. This home sleeps 8 comfortably. Boulder View Tavern, Galleria, Lake Harmony Cruises by Captain Wolf, Lake View Tavern at Split Rock, Louieā€™s Prime Steakhouse, Nickā€™s Lake House, Piggyā€™s Restaurant, Piggyā€™s Hog Heaven Ice Cream, Shenanigans, Split Rock Golf Club and Sunset Green Restaurant, Terra Cottage CafĆ© and Gifts, The Crossings Premium Outlets are some of the local Pocono attractions.

Pro: Property was within walking distance to everything! Could have used a few more days to take more in. Great restaurants, & live music.Con: lake is over populated with too many boats & power boats with excessive horse-power. Donā€™t even try to bring a boat to this lake. They make it almost impossible. I understand why now. Plus no rental boats, only tour boat with Captain Wolf.Overall great location!

Great Pocono Cabin

This was an amazing cabin stay. The weather didnā€™t cooperate for us to be on the water that much however the house has so many amenities that we were able to stay entertained the whole time. Will definitely return with friends and family!

Wonderful place for a family vacay!

Spent three lovely nights ā€¦ very clean, close to restaurants and many activitiesā€¦ the only thing to be aware of , must use caution if backing out on a fairly busy roadā€¦ otherwise it was a well maintained home and manager was great!

Ara was very easy to work with. When one of the circuit breakers tripped he responded quickly to get us into the locked closet so we could flip the switch. He was also very kind to arrange a new portable crib for the 20 month old we had with us. Overall our experience was good. A couple of comments about the kitchen, there are not enough drinking glasses or coffee mugs. If you like champagne there are over 20 champagne glasses. But there were only only about 4-5 drinking glasses. Similarly, there were less than six or seven coffee mugs. We had to go by solo cups and use our own coffee travel mugs from our cars. It was just not enough beverage glasses for 16 people. You expect better for this sort of price. Otherwise, the kitchen was acceptable. Finally, the place could use a coat of paint in the common areas.

Lovely weekend

As last year, the house and property are wonderful! Everything was completely ready for us when we arrived. One issue was that all the water just stopped working on Friday morning -- a problem with 15+ women in the house -- but, after a phone call, a few hours later the water was working again and was fine the rest of the weekend. We did want to see some college football games on Saturday but, though the TVs had dozens of channels, on none of them could we find the Penn State game or the Women's Soccer game. We called the property manager, but never received a response. Over all, however, the house, though expensive, is well situated, very clean, loaded with space, and with many amenities that we appreciate. Thank you for another lovely weekend!

Annual Family and Friend Trip.

We are a large group of adults and kids who do a trip every year. We love staying at this property. It is a great location, plenty of space. We love getting to hear the band next door. Great communication and flexibility with owner. This is our second time here and we will be coming back again!

Lake Harmony vacation 2024

House is beautiful...extremely functional and roomy. Dock and boat/water experience was great. Would have appreciated better chairs for dock area and high back chairs for high table. Could not get ice machine to work. Had two engineers with us. Need to figure out why it takes so long to get hot water at all faucets. Terrible waste of water running it so long for washing and showers. Any minor issues were addressed immediately by the local manager.

Good and Bad

Overall this is a nice house. The location is great and the size of the place is impressive. For this price though, the attention to detail was horrible. The hot tub was filthy, the dock is falling apart, the chairs were flimsy, and some of them were broken when we got there. One of our friends sat in a chair and I guess someone had broken it and then just stuck the pieces together, so it crumbled underneath him. Luckily he wasn't hurt and we actually got a good laugh, but again, for this price, I expect much better.

Old Frat Buddies

A dozen of my frat buddies from the late 1970's planned a golf outing for 2 nights and stayed here. We really didn't take advantage of many of the amenities. But the game room and home theater down stairs looked awesome. But our mission was to play golf and eat out (Nicks Restaurant next door - was solid, Piggy's for breakfast was really just OK). But we had a ball. This place would be ideal for a couple of families to share for a summer vacation. And oh...don't waste your time playing golf at Split Rock - not a good course. Jack Frost Natl just a few miles away is outstanding!!!

LOVE THE HOUSE!

So many positives, starting with Coty who was lovely to work with! The fire pit, access to Nick's, number of beds and bathrooms, the decks, the game room, the kitchen table and chairs -- awesome! A few suggestions: A MANUAL WITH WRITTEN DIRECTIONS for the electronics (tv's; remotes), including fireplaces, and showers, etc.; hooks in the bedrooms and bathrooms; more consistent lighting going downstairs to the back yard; fixing the slow-to-heat oven; ladders for fire escape from upper deck in case of emergency. Overall, though, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Great Rental Property

This is our groups second time staying at the property. We stayed in the fall so didn't get to enjoy water activities, but enjoyed the fall foliage, bars and restaurants near by, and the home itself. The fire places made the home cozy, kitchen was spacious and we had a movie day in the theater. We will be back again!
