River View - Ox Yoke #5 - Great Family Cabin Along the Lake Fork of the Gunnison River

2 Bedrooms/1 Bathroom; Sleeps 4-6 - Great Cabin Close to Town.

This cabin sits along the Lake Fork of the Gunnison River about a mile from Historic downtown Lake City. This cabin has many new upgrades!! It has a full kitchen, living room, two bedrooms (both with a queen sized bed) as well as a full bathroom which was remodeled this past year. You can walk to town from this cabin as well as catching a round of miniature golf along the way. Fishing in the river out front is always encouraged as well as just sitting out by the fire pit which is right along the river. Enjoy sitting out on the covered deck watching the river go by and even the deer grazing on the grass that is between the cabin and the river. Come and enjoy this wonderful cabin.

Upon check-in property had not been cleaned, but once we called the property mgr, she had someone there within 5 minutes and it got cleaned quickly. Other than that everything was perfect. Cabin is well appointed and being on the river was great.

Lovely cabin on River

This upgraded cabin is clean, comfortable and in a perfect spot! Right on the River with a covered porch. A perfect location for relaxing after exploring the beauty surrounding Lake City. The remodeled bath, tho small, is so well done with lots of storage and a beautiful large shower. (I would recommend updating the pictures on the info about the cabin) The management company was extremely accommodating, even after we lost our key on a trail! We recommend picking up a brochure at the visitors center that maps some of the short walking trails the town has created along Henson Creek and the River. And we highly recommend this lovely cabin.

Fabulous!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here!! Quiet and peaceful with the sound of the river flowing behind the cabin. Enjoyed my morning coffee on the porch every morning. Our Grandkids enjoyed fishing and playing in the lush green backyard. Overall an amazing place to stay in Lake City. We look forward to our next visit.

Great cabin by the river

We enjoyed this cabin so much, the location is very picturesque by the river. When you get a rain shower, you can sit on the covered portion of the porch. We enjoyed the numerous hummingbirds. The Wi-Fi was good, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans and utensils, and the cabin was very clean. Lake City is a hidden gem.

Excellent Adventure

Overall Great Spot

Great location! Right next to the river with a lawn that is great for hanging out with family and friends. If you you plan on being outside most of the time the cabin is great. The cabin itself could use some tlc and some updating on the interior. Overall great experience with the family. We will be back!

Loved the location just outside Lake City. Being right on the river and having a covered deck was great. Had everything we needed to be able to cook in the cabin.
