The first bedroom downstairs (Queen Bed) exudes both coziness and mountain sophistication. A spacious room, large closet with a dresser provides ample storage for your favorite vacation outfits.

Just under the front porch, nestled onto one side is a two-person hanging swing that beckons for moments of tranquility amidst the natural splendor surrounding you.



Adirondack chairs offer cozy seating while others can engage in friendly competition with a round of corn hole nearby. As the sun sets, gather around the fire-pit, where the warm glow sets the stage for shared stories and laughter. The outdoor spaces of Pintail Lodge are thoughtfully designed for moments of connection, relaxation and pure enjoyment of the picturesque San Bernardino National Forest.

Guest Access:

It's pretty simple, Pintail Lodge is yours during your stay! Pintail Lodge includes parking on-site, a gas BBQ grill, the outdoor fire gas fire pit and all the sun, stars and snow you can soak up!



NOTE: There is another A frame home located on the same property that is not occupied and you will not have access to that home. You rental is just up the stone stairs, through the gate and to your right.



Other Things to Note:

•Max of 3 cars at the property at anytime. There is no street parking.

•Must be at least 25 years old to book stay

•Noiseaware: We are committed to Rent Responsibly standards. This means we follow best-in-class guidelines to ensure you have a peaceful, safe and memorable stay with us. We use smart home technology to improve your experience. NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures decibel levels throughout the property and allows us to respond to noise nuisances without disrupting your stay. NoiseAware is 100% privacy compliant, it does not record conversations and is required on this property. Do not tamper, unplug or remove the Noiseaware decibel monitoring devices. Doing so may result in a $250 fee and removal from the rental property.



Be Advised: After a snow, mountain residential roads are not plowed as often as the main roads. The lodge is at 5500 feet elevation. In the winter the county plows the road sometime after a snowfall. In case of heavy snow, we will do our best to have the driveway cleared once before your arrival (but this is not always possible). If there is snow, you will need to bring tire chains to safely navigate the road that leads to Pintail Lodge. We cannot guarantee the walkway/ paths and driveway will be completely cleared prior to your arrival. We do provide snow shovels for guests to use for snow removal if necessary. Stairs, walkways and patios and porches can become a slip hazard from the winter weather, please watch your step to prevent injury.



Be Advised: Pintail Lodge is surrounded by beautiful alpine forest. Expect to get up close and personal with nature. We ask that you always be aware of you surrounding and wildlife in order to avoid harm. Please realize that sometimes critters make their way onto our property and seek refuge from the weather. Be mindful of your surrounds walking around on property and when removing the fire-pit and BBQ grill covers as critters may make their way under coverings to seek shelter.



LAKE ACCESS: You will need to get day passes to access the lake. The process to get day passes is as follows:

+ Let us know if you want lake access AT LEAST 24 HOURS BEFORE YOUR CHECK-IN so we can call the association and put you on our STR list.

+The guest needs to take our ALA membership card (at the property) and provide ID for all adults wanting a day pass. You will also have to sign ALA liability form.

+Cost: it is $10/day per adult for pass (there is no max days)

+Guest has access to the walking trails around the lake and also can fish/swim from shoreline. Guests are not allowed to use watercraft on the lake or access beach clubs.

HOURS for the ALA Office SUMMER are: Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm and Sat 9am to 5pm. WINTER hours are: Mon-Fri 8am to 4:30pm. The ALA office is located at the marina at 870 N. State Hwy 173, Lake Arrowhead CA, 92352
