This modern, family-friendly home features 2 master suites, a gourmet kitchen, and an EV charger. Perfect for unforgettable getaways just minutes from Blue Jay and Lake Arrowhead Village.

Professionally remodeled and decorated 3 level home with 5 bedrooms + children's bunkbed room, 3.5 baths, sleeps 12 with parking for 4 vehicles. Dog friendly.

Blue Jay Village
Downtown Blue Jay is a quick 4-minute drive and home to Jensen’s Foods, Starbucks, and numerous retail shops & restaurants.

Lake Arrowhead Village
Village shops and restaurants are a short 5-mile drive. Sky Park at Santa’s Village, a mile further.

Home is located a few minutes away from town center. Easy 4 minute drive to downtown Blue Jay and 9 minutes to Lake Arrowhead Village Center.
• Minimum age of individual booking property is 25 years
• Our vacation rental permit allows a maximum occupancy of 12 at any time
• Permitted parking for 4 vehicles at any time. 2 Garage/ 2 Driveway. Street parking is prohibited by the county
• Do not disable the internet. It monitors critical guest health & safety components like Smoke/ C02 warnings
• Property incorporates exterior parking camera as per requirement of county short rental code compliance. Monitors weather events, fire risk, exterior noise, parking, and trash compliance
• Interior noise monitoring device as per county requirement
• Quiet hours are between 10:00 pm & 7:00 am
• No events or parties
• No amplified media to be played outdoors
• No smoking (e-cigarette/ vaping/ hookah) on property (in home or on grounds)
• Furry family members are welcome (2 dog limit. $100 flat rate)
• Gentle reminder that this is our home and to treat it, and surrounding neighbors, with consideration

The place is gorgeous and incredibly well appointed, views spectacular, amenities amazing.The only challege we had was the check in email.I was searching my overly inundated inbox for VRBO, and it came direct from the landlord which I later understood went straight to my junk filter.So - IMHO VRBO should carry that same information or initial check in email on the 'Trip' page.It was after calling a human at VRBO that I was connected directly with the owner (who was amazing btw) This feels like VRBO issue that could easily be resoloved in the automated response.The property and the host we're beyond amazing.Curtis.

Luxury Getaway

Each year, my friends and I get together with our spouses and children for an annual snow weekend. We’ve been to many locations/homes, and we all agreed that this year was our best yet! Jon was a great host, communicating from the beginning of our trip until the end. Due to unexpected snow, the roads leading to our original home were snowed in, but Jon immediately rectified the situation, placing us in a different property, which was really an upgrade from what we originally booked! Amenities were great, home was magazine-perfect, and the location was convenient. We will definitely be booking with Jon again

Our best house yet!

This trip was our 8th year of continuing a very special tradition with two of our very close friend families. We do it every NYE and look forward to it all year. We all agreed that this particular house was the best and we're hoping we can book it again in two years. We alternate between the desert and mountains every year. The house was huge, lots of rooms with king size beds, open concept main living area and a fun area on the bottom floor for the kiddos. The process of booking this property was easy, check was seamless and the signage they have posted around the house to help with lights, wifi, kitchen details was a perfect touch. We will definitely be back!

Great Property -perfect for families

My family and I stayed at this property for a weekend wedding. The property is exactly the way it shows in pictures. The bedrooms were great size and the sheets were super comfy. The property had amazing views of the lake and it was nice to have breakfast outside with a view. We have a hybrid car and that was a nice bonus to be able to plug in our car. My family also enjoyed the electric bikes. If I had to give a couple of criticisms and these do not make me want to change the star rating is 1. there was a lot more street noise than we expected. It somewhat took away from sitting on the decks and the ambiance 2. towels in bathroom were a bit small. But other than that- really gorgeous. We were at a wedding and heard stories of others who rented properties and had poor experiences. We gushed about ours and recommended to several families. We hope to rent again in the future.

Resting Place with a fantastic view

Very well maintained property! The view we felt was even better than the photos. E bikes were perfect means to browse around the lake. And sitting by the fire under the stars really did it for us!

80th Birthday CELEBRATION!!

We had an amazing time in this beautiful, spacious and well appointed home! Spent time on the 3 decks enjoying family time with food & cocktails. There are awesome views of the lake & neighboring mountains. Top deck was our fave with barbecue, fire pit for 5 and picnic table for dining. Kitchen was spacious with bar seating to entertain the cooks. A great family dining space with large table to seat the entire family. Living quarters comfortable with fireplace & large TV for March Madness fun. Bedrooms spacious with comfortable king beds with luxury bedding. Bathrooms stocked with towels, toiletries, blow dryers, curling irons, Q-tips, cotton pads, soap, shampoo & conditioners. Kitchen also well stocked and conducive to cooking family meals. Coffee, spices, storage bags, etc. A great house which is clearly run by an impressive rental group, who thought of everything. We can’t wait to go back and will definitely seek this property again.

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS

Absolutely the best house I have ever stayed at. I celebrated my birthday here with my friends and every single one of us was amazed by how beautiful and clean the house was. The house had absolutely everything you could need, including hair straighteners and curlers that my girlfriends pointed out. I would absolutely come back to this house before looking for another one.

Amazing Family Christmas

Thank you a wonderful time. We had a great family Christmas and it was soooo cool to walk into a fully-decorated Christmas tree! Very classy touch. The view is awesome. We spent so much time out on the deck by the fire pit. The description says “gourmet” kitchen and that is accurate. Wonderfully appointed. Just show up with your food and drink. Plenty of space! We could have had 4 more people and still had ample room. Would highly recommend.

Great Stay

Overall we had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and the views are stunning. But please be aware that there are steep stairs. We had very small children and a pregnant woman in our group so it wasn’t the most convenient so if there are elderly people it may not be the best choice. The bonus room and second master bedroom are 2 flights of steep stairs down. But a great house with everything you need. The electric bikes were a great bonus.

What a View!

We througly enjoyed our stay. The view is fantastic! Perfect place for our family to spend time together. The most responsive host I have ever dealt with ... The fire pit was not working correctly and they had a new one installed by the next day! Amazing!

Family Getaway

The Alpen Lodge is beautiful and spacious with the view of the lake better than pictured. We were pleasantly surprised with all of the kitchen supplies and extras that included many pantry basics. The home was very comfortable for our family of eight with room to spare. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels and bathroom supplies. We enjoyed the outside decks and loved sitting around the fire pit in the evening. The only negative is the outside furniture on the main deck needs to be replaced. We would most definitely return for another family getaway in the future. Thank you Jon.
