"Hotel was clean, staff very friendly and helpful. The room itself was dated. The mattress on the pull out couch was awful (wicked thin and the couch itself was broken so when pulled out, the mattress inclined backwards instead of flat.) Draw in the bathroom was broken, so couldn't access the hair dryer or extra toiletries housed in it."

She was taking a reservation on the phone and didn't bother to say I'll be right with you and when she got off the phone didn't apologize for my wait. "I thought this would just be a "regular" hotel, but I really ended up liking it so much! The staff were very friendly, the room was great, and the surrounding neighborhood restaurants and shops were so fun--especially the antique stores!"

"The employee that checked me in went against company policy and took my cash as a deposit and stole it. They won't give me my money back or acknowledge that my money was stolen because I used a towel to clean up a sweet tea spill and some got on the sheets. The room had roaches and stains already on the towels but I wouldn't have cared or complained until the staff decided to handle this the way they did. Nasty jacuzzi tub also."

"Television stations were either without sound or in Spanish. Most of outdoor door card readers did not work. Outdoor trash cans were overflowing on to ground. Entire building had a strong smell of marijuana. Would not stay here again"
